Nope, the war Bush started was pretty damn hot, and built totally on lies.

So funny how Republicans use Obama's empathy as race baiting. The truth is, Republicans are so sensitive when it comes to black empathy, that they consider that alone race baiting. If it was a white person, we can mourn them all week long... But an unarmed black person... to even suggest a problem, is race baiting. And why is that? Why? We know why. I won't say it. But we all know why.

You mean the war Hillary voted for? What was Trumps stance on that war again?

Climate change is such a misleading name. Of course the climate is changing, but it's nowhere near as bad as certain politicians make it out to be to get the green vote and tax dollars.

MORAL IMPERATIVE people!

CLimate change is a MORAL IMPERATIVE!

And yet the PLANET is NOT doing it hasn't done for EONS.

It has been in a constant state of motion.

That has changed the face of this rock since the beginning.

People that believe in SCIENCE know this.

Depends on the actor or actress. A high caliber respected actress like Sigourney Weaver or Meryl Street... they have pull. Same reason it means something if Clint Eastwood speaks on behalf of Republicans. You may not like it, but these people have met more people than most, worked with more people than most, traveled more places than most... and as worldly artists, their perspective is sometimes a little wider in scope.

What percentage of those artists your speaking of along with politicians identify with working class America. You know the 75ish percent?

Global warming, climate change or whatever you want to call it, is backed by scientific research. Some of us would like to work to find better ways to keep our environment in the best shape possible.

It's sad that it has to be a political issue, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do when we have section of society that doesn't believe in science.

I am mixed on the climate change issue, but the fear mongering is way beyond the pale and the solutions are all for profit and screwing the average person.

This guy is SHOVELING hydro chloro bull snip big time.

As U.S. Shutters Coal Plants, China and Japan are Building Them

China and Japan have plans to build massive amounts of coal-fired power plants, while the United States is not only not building new coal-fired power plants, but it is also shuttering many of its existing coal-fired power plants because of Obama Administration policies. China is building one coal-fired power plant every 7 to 10 days, while Japan plans to build 43 coal-fired power projects to replace its shuttered nuclear units. The United States, on the other hand, cannot build new non-CCS coal-fired power plants and is shuttering existing coal fired power plants. These existing coal-fired power plants retiring in the United States are among the cheapest source of electricity generation in this country. To replace these plants with new generating capacity will cost the nation and thus taxpayers and consumers billions of dollars.

Some scientists disagree.
en.wikipedia.org...

Do none of these people (scientists) believe in science?

Like you, I think, I'd like a debate between scientists not linked to govt and profit.

Yes, some scientists disagree. Why they disagree comes down to a variety of reasons.

And I would also like to see that debate.

But why does global warming solutions always involve poor and middle class people paying more. Why do politicians and celebrities fly private jets around the world burning tons of fossil fuels, live in swanky home with all the most modern amenities, and only many properties that must be cooled and heated that they visit maybe once a year get to tell poor people how they need to change their lives.

Their actions aren't problematic, its us regular people not car pooling, or using bad light bulbs, or god forbid using air conditioning that are to be blamed. Shame on us for killing the world.

I believe in natural climate change, not in anthropogenic global warming. Not all scientist buy it. There is plenty of scientific research that goes against this manmade theory too.
