AP: Clinton State Dept. Calendar Hides 75 Meetings With Donors

In a nutshell...Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was hiding the fact that she was meeting with Wall Street, Banking & corporate political donors, by altering her official SD calendar... excluding meetings, names and entries from the official record.

This, in addition to avoiding releasing her paid speaking transcripts to Banks and Wall Street firms...indicates anything but 'transparency', as well as a conscious effort to hide the fact that she was secretly fundraising while supposedly on official State Dept. business.

Television cameras rolled when Hillary Clinton appeared on the central balcony of the New York Stock Exchange to ring the opening bell — just minutes after she attended a private breakfast in September 2009 with influential Wall Street and business leaders.

Now the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Clinton met that morning with a dozen chief executives, most of whose firms had lobbied the government and donated to her family's global charity, the Clinton Foundation.

The event was closed to the press and merited only a brief mention in her official calendar, which omitted the names of all her guests — among them Blackstone Group Chairman Steven Schwarzman, PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi and then-New York Bank of Mellon CEO Robert Kelly.


The AP review of Clinton's calendar — her after-the-fact, official chronology of the events of her four-year term — identified at least 75 meetings with longtime political donors and loyalists, Clinton Foundation contributors and corporate and other outside interests that were either not recorded or listed with identifying details scrubbed.


The AP found the omissions by comparing the 1,500-page document with separate planning schedules supplied to Clinton by aides in advance of each day's events. The names of at least 114 outsiders who met with Clinton were missing from her calendar, the records show.

The missing entries raise new questions about how Clinton and her inner circle handled government records documenting her State Department tenure — in this case, why the official chronology of her four-year term does not closely mirror other more detailed records of her daily meetings.

Good post, and thank you. I am surprised that Hil
hid only 75 meetings with whomevers-- but they'd
conversely and probably be enough slush to pay
the campaign pipers. They use bricks of hundreds
to move votes instead of canvassing--- much easier.

I sure would have liked to be a fly on the front of
the podium when she gave the speech to GoldSacks
though... I bet that rhetoric would have been glorious.

Eventually people will understand that it's always easier to just be truthful and honest.

Just like her email scandal, all she had to do was simply follow the guidelines and there wouldn't have been any problem.

Benghazi was investigated and she was cleared of any wrongdoing, and even the Republicans involved acknowledged there was nothing she could have done at the time.

There have been multiple investigations conducted and not one has yet to find Hillary did anything wrong. The GOP is dragging this out because they have yet to find anything to stick to her.

According to the letter sent Sunday, the committee's former chief Republican investigator concluded in January that "nothing could have affected what occurred in Benghazi."
