I disagree with the premise of the Thread.

If Sanders ends up supporting Clinton, it doesn't make him a bad person, it makes him someone who was afraid to grab the bull by the horns and run independently or Green, but it also means that he's calculated who would make the best president of the two.

If forced to chose between Clinton and Trump, I'll probably vote for Clinton--One main reason is that I think they're both criminals, so that's a wash, but Clinton actually believes in Climate Science and will do more for the environment than Trump.

Especially when you take into consideration that he is an Independent.
I saw members calling him a Democrat on page one.
He isn't a Democrat.

He was an independent, he became a Democrat official in 2015 or else he could not be in the DNC primary. His voting history has him 98% of the time supporting the Democrats. He was one in all but, name even then.

The problem is Trump is also anti-empathetic and pro-bigotry. It slides right down the gullet for most republicans, but Sanders and his supporters not too keen on it.

Maybe he doesnt want to spend a billion dollars to fight Hillary when she has a superpac.

Unless of course you would spend a billion dollars running for president of your own money?

I could use a billion dollars for a lot of better things for humanity than running for president.

Ok, this is the first valid point brought up in my opinion.

So where would this fall on your list of priorities if you were Bernie and would these 2 factors out weigh the res?

Yes he could and why would anyone in their right mind spend billions of their own money it makes no sense and is an invalid point for anyone with half a brain.

He and Trump are both establishment or else the would not be the big two political parties.

Because Trump claims he's anti establishment doesn't at all mean Sanders should or will support him.

I've noticed that a LOT of Trump supporters support him because they think he's anti-establishment... They're in for a YOOGE surprise if Trump gets the position... Trump and Sanders may both have SOME anti-establishment traits, but that doesn't mean there's ANY common ground between the two.

Perhaps a Venn Diagram will help...

Yes. I really wish I'd looked into him more before I gave him money. No sweat off my back, just feel like an idiot. This is a guy who got kicked out a commune for not helping enough, who didn't have a steady job until he was 40, who wrote a piece about women enjoying gang rape... I didn't realize how crazy left he was, I thought he was more of a centrist for some reason that was also anti-establishment.

Funny thing is I respect him, I just really disagree with him. I think he genuinely wants to help, I think he keeps his word, he doesn't flip flop and birds apparently enjoy his company, and while I talk sh$t it's impressive that he's been able to garner so much support and his campaign funding is impressive. He's a well intentioned commie.

Us 'em Trump supporters don't know how to figure out your magic circle witchcraft matheries.

I would actually give Sanders much more of an overlap with Hillary, and remove a bit more of the establishment.

Right but everything Trump stands for goes against the establishment.

Please explain that.

He is as much Democrat as Trump is Republican.
The lines blur.
Because they are all on the same team.
Not my team.

Bernie supporting Hillary, may turn out to be him sending her cartons of cigarettes in prison.

Bernie hates Clinton...probably more than he does Trump. He can't back her...it would be a complete 'sell out' of all his principles.

Remember...he isn't really a Democrat...he's an Independent.

That is why Bernie is cool with Clinton, his words are to the core of a meaningless thoughtless and ... hillary

13 flags of ignorance which is not surprising coming from the Trump camp.
