Owl. All the fb quizzes say so. Also, it makes a lot of sense for me should therebe such a thing as a spirit animal. I have owl-like characteristics. And mice taste good. Wait, did i say that? Ha! Jk.

Oh, I had died twice in my life. I had a friend who was Native American and we always talked about spiritual things. I feel Native Americans are very in touch with the spiritual plane. Anyway, he told me about the Spirit Horse. It was a horse that came and picked up your spirit when you died to take you to wherever. I thought it was cool and hence the name.

From what you said before though I think it would have to be Sasquatch. That was life changing and having being in the woods hunting for the last 40 years, I saw it once. I never really thought about a spirit guide before, especially an animal. Not sure how that would guide you spiritually.

From my understanding theres an element of similarity between you and your spirit animal, sharing some of the same characteristic. You are 'like' the horse in some respects, me the bear. It was a bear by the way, it stood over me one night in Tuolumne Meadows, Yosemite. Scared the s*** out of me, but left me unharmed. So close I could feel its belly hair rubbing against my sleeping bag.

I tell the tale here somewhere, couldn't find it. That was the most memorable animal encounter I can recall.

Theres another in Death Valley with a pack of coyotes that surrounded me in the dark and howled, they were so close the din hurt my ears.

And another with a big rattle snake…

The badger

Although smaller in stature, the badger commands attention from friend and foe alike. We can do the same, but we must be mindful that we do so in a healthy, constructive manner.
