This is how I feel when it comes to all the politically correct and overly offended people popping up more and more.

Guess what...life isn’t fair...life is hard and people will always judge you...humans are animals and part of darwin’s chain so it’s going to happen regardless. I’m short...I secretly get judged by that...if I’m too confident then it’s assumed I have a napoleon complex and I'll most likely make less money because of my height as well(The Financial Perks of Being Tall but there isn’t a movement for that...I deal with it(I know that's not a fair comparison and there are harder things to deal with but that's not the point). A lot of people face pain and suffering despite hard work and it could be for any number of reasons...a lot of times they were just dealt a bad hand. Life isn’t fair...you don’t need awards for being who you are...all you can do is be the best version of yourself and hope for the best.

The universe isn’t fair...some day the sun will die...the very thing that gave us life will swell and swallow earth before contracting and dying into darkness and if we haven’t left by then...the sun will kill the very life it created...is that fair? When a lion kills a baby gazelle in front of it’s mother is it fair? When a hyena pack kills that same lion hours later is that fair?

The most unfair thing is that the universe created something that can feel and understand how unfair it all is. It created something that understands love, joy, happiness, pain, sorrow, greed, fear, horror, guilt and death...it understands that it will die and everything it loves will die and it has no idea if death is the end or the beginning of something else...that is truly unfair. At least the mother gazelle doesn’t have the cognizance to understand it all and within hours it will be going about it’s normal life.

At the end of the day I get it that discrimination is bad and people in minority groups have it really hard when it comes to the deck being stacked against them but let's realize that we weren't born into something that was ever going to be nor will ever be fair. So I say treat your fellow humans with respect and acceptance and give the people who don't completely understand it all yet a break as long as they are respectful(they might just not know about the new gender pronouns among other things
). Gender Pronouns

I apologize for the overuse of ellipses...I'm ranting. Also I'm exaggerating because I'm venting in the rant so please don't take it too personally. I also understand that "fair" is a human creation and as such is subjective...not objective.

Ya gotta love it when they get that cold splash in the face called Reality, when they graduate college, stand there with a useless degree in their hand and still whine about how they deserve this and that, but they're still living at home, with Mommy and Daddy still footing the bills, because a job at Mcd's is not what they deserve, even though it would at least help with the bills, till they actually get a job they were trained for. If you can call a Liberal Arts degree "training".
Nope. Gotta stay on Twitter, bitching and whining about how unfair it all is that they got through school and they're still not making 100 grand a year and driving that Porche.
Wait...I though Capitalism was Bad and Socialism was going to save the day, so why do they want to earn 100 grand, wear $3,000 suits and drive a Porche? Hmmm?

That's when they Feel the Bern.

If they can't whine until someone gives it to them for their obvious brilliance, then they'll vote for the one who claims he can force everyone to give it to them and make sure it happened yesterday!

This is an old local commercial, but it just screams Millennial to me.

Replace "brilliant personality" with any degree whose title ends in "studies."

LMAO. You're right.
Interviewer: "What skills do you have?"
Millennial: " Dude. I can type up to 140 characters really fast. And I am wicked at emoticons!"

Unfair - Political Correctness

There is no such thing as political correctness, its called suppression of free speech. Why is it called this? Because hats exactly what it is, that's it purpose.

If we can get everyone to be politically correct then we will soon have them being being politically correct about anything to do with politics and prominent people, particularly politicians. Long lasting change is introduced little by little giving people time to adjust and for the desired norm to be become the norm.

When that has been concreted in we start on the next one and so on but we don't want the masses to know that though.

got that have you?

It is natural for people to gravitate to where they feel comfortable. You could

call it their *comfort zone* so if one is considered to be a minority anywhere

they have left their *comfort zone.* Which then leaves them with the option

of returning to their *comfort zone* OR facing it out.

If they choose the latter, it is their choice .... but they are wrong to expect

the majority to change. make exceptions, alter their customs and beliefs just

to suit them!

As a straight white middle class male I don't feel I can contribute to these PC threads. I've never been discriminated against for my sexuality race or social position, it's never been illegal for me to be the things I am. I'm rarely the but of jokes or suffered bullying because my race, sexuality ethnicity or religion. So got no complaints really. Still life isn't fair, it was never supposed to be, but it's clear some people want to keep the woe is me PC moaning fires burning. Get over it. Move on with your own lives

The problem with these kinds of discussions about P.C. is that it's so multi-faceted. There are so many different groups of people who are under-privileged in one way or another, and within those groups there are so many individuals who are making a wide variety of requests or demands; some of which are reasonable, some of which are entitled.

I think that the main thing is that we keep open communication about all of it. You don't have to agree with someone, but at least give the other side a fair chance to speak out and listen them, because that's something that everyone deserves. Heck, isn't that why we're on the forum right now?
