Here I am online instead of sleeping. I have to get up in 5 hours and really should be asleep but nope!! My damn insomnia has kicked in and I've more or less given up getting any sleep at all. Oh, I did go to sleep at 12 something, only to get jerked out of sleep after only an hour or so. I hate this. To add to my misery, I have really bad indigestion right now. Yeah, I'm feeling just lovely. NOT!

try putting a laptop next to your bed and playing the stream on dreamingwithjeff.com

from my post, you may have seen, I slept anywhere from 18-23 hours, so I can't sleep.

For indigestion, I chew 3 antacid tablets. I have no special recipes for that.

I saw where you slept most of the day. That always sucks. What are you going to do now?

Just do the usual. Milk, a book, and some classical music or ambient white noise or rainymood.com

It is.

I will go to sleep in about an hour. I have an appointment at 4:15 tomorrow. So I will slowly get back on track.

If you don't have antacid tablets, a teaspoon of baking soda in 8-10 oz. Of water. Tastes nasty, but helps. Also, very warm shower and warm milk, if you have Chamomile tea that can help with sleep. No t.v. or bright lights!

Just decide your going to do an all nighter and purposely try to stay awake... That's the only thing that gets me to start drifting and get at least 2 hours worth, when insomnia hits.

If your stressing out about getting to sleep, you've got no chance, ime.

I work a midnight shift and sleeping during the day sucks.

That said, I take one (1) melatonin and and three (3) ZMA pills before I go to bed at 7AM.

It helps a lot.

Try reading something dry but informative and interesting enough to hold your attention but you don't enjoy too much.

For the indigestion or heart burn as I call it, milk sometimes works but sometimes not. If it makes it worse or does nothing at all for it, try a small amount of baking soda in some water. It tastes bad, like salt water, but it will make you burp a couple good times and get rid of that.
