FBI alerted about group of men asking about Bagnell Dam

CAMDEN COUNTY, MO – Police are revealing more about a report of a group of men asking about the Bagnell Dam. Miller County Sheriff Bill Abbott tells Lake News that the Camden County Sheriff’s Office forwarded a security tip regarding the hydroelectric facility to the FBI.

Police tell KMIZ-TV that the incident happened about two weeks ago at the Golden Corral in Osage Beach. A deputy was eating lunch and the wait staff told him about the group of men. Staffers said the men were asking questions about the dam. They wanted to know if they could rent a boat and tour the dam.

The Camden County Sheriff’s Office tells Lake News that they received a tip about a group of “Middle Eastern” men asking about Bagnell Dam. The police department forward a security tip regarding the hydroelectric facility to the FBI.

Continues to seem as if somethings Rotten in Denmark, as these Middle Eastern Men Continue to Push Missouri Locals into a state of Concern. The Question is, Why the Hell would Anyone be interested in wanting to take friggen boat ride in the middle of the winter to have a look at Bagnell Dam Power plant.

Back during 911, Stockton Dam Hydroelectric plant put up surveillance with thermal cameras and put gates at each end of the Dam to help thwart Large truck Bombs from finding their way there.

There is no need to be afraid when members are simply sharing a piece of news on ATS. This should not cause people to be more "afraid" and apprehensive toward people of Middle Eastern backgrounds (although of course that will still happen).

I don't think OP is fearmongering though - and there have been a lot of weird happenings in MO this month and if the FBI is looking into it, there might be some credibility to the premise that these men were planning some sort of attack. Better safe than sorry.

Very suspicious! I live in Iowa near the Missouri border and even though it's not quite full on winter nobody in their right mind would be out on a boat. Eventually this "group" of middle eastern men are gonna run into a "group" of redneck hicks who read the news

The more I research Islam, the more pieces of the puzzle come together when trying to understand the Muslim mindset. It's a sin to call out other Muslim's sins. Or at least, frowned on. I 2nd guessed that sentence as I wrote it. ha so I can't blame you for saying that. The FBI frequently has a hand in "foiled" terrorist attacks by suggesting scenarios and offering to supply the needed materials for the attack...

So they are NOT always white knights riding in to save everyone and do good for the world.

Maybe this is a completely fictitious story, but if there really were men asking about renting a boat to look at the dam up close... I'm not familiar with the dam or tourist attractions available out there but it doesn't sound like a typical question anyway
