Sanders isn't PART of a party, he's an independent. He's a Democrat in name only.
@IAMTAT
Many people feel that Sanders will only dramatically contribute to that dept. and destroy the economy for everyone.
Many people also feel that a bearded man in the sky created the universe, and humanity are His special chosen ones.
That doesn't make them right.
they both said they would be voting for Trump
If I hadn't researched Sanders properly, I'd probably be voting for Trump too. Or Rand Paul.

Sorry but he takes money from many large unions and PAC's that are not created by himself. I know that he talks about a 'grassroots only give less than 30 dollars' but if you look close enough it is not exactly true. He has more small donations than HIl but that is it.
He also voted for the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 which change the way 'soft donations' were limited.
Polls are biased and the scary part for many is, the one person who CANNOT change the established polls with PAC political influence is winning by a mile right now in those same polls.
There is something else about Sanders most will not talk about either. He is Jewish. A lot of people, especially your old school old time Democrats, not the 'new' democrat, will not vote for someone of the Jewish faith.

Interesting point.
Would the large Muslim voting block, which normally votes 70%-85% Democrat, vote in such large numbers for a Jewish man?
Many people (Democrats and Republicans, alike) feel $20+Trillion in debt is reaching the 'Tipping Point' on bankrupting the economy...and fear for their retirement.

A super PAC tied to a union supporting Bernie Sanders has spent almost $570,000 to help his presidential run, according the Sunlight Foundation and representatives from the group, spending that contradicts some of what the Vermont senator has said in the past about campaign finance reform.

The Union Monies? Here are a few to chew on....

He did vote to expand it donations. Look at his 2006 campaign...and he is Jewish.
I do not really care if he does. Not saying he is a bad guy. But if there are PAC's backing you then you should be honest. If a person can not be open about campaign funds how can they be transparent in office?
National Nurses United super PAC is different than those supporting other candidates, like Priorities USA, a PAC backing Hillary Clinton, and Right to Rise, a group backing Jeb Bush. Both of those organizations have raised millions of dollars with the blessing of their respective candidates and are generally run by former aides.
The nurses super PAC is funded by union members and does not coordinate with Sanders, nor does Sanders raise money for the group. The groups has also been active in past, spending $2.4 million in 2014 and $500,000 in 2012.
"Our organization exists to protect nurses and patients. No candidate has better amplified the critical issues nurses have voiced for many years than Bernie Sanders," Deborah Burger, co-president of National Nurses United, told CNN in a statement. "We are proud to support Bernie Sanders and will continue to do so."
“We never considered it a super PAC,” said Jean Ross, co-president of the nurses union. “This isn’t a corporation or an individual who can write out millions of dollars at a time. This is money that nurses put out for things that they believe in.”
National Nurses United, a 185,000-member union, endorsed Sanders in August after polling its members and a vote of its leadership.
“It’s not surprising that we support Bernie Sanders,” Ross said. “He is certainly in support of making sure that people who need health care get it, and that’s been a cause of ours for a long time. He doesn’t just agree with us, he shows up.”
