Alas, I used a colloquial expression typically associated with younger people. The horror, the humiliation.

It's probably more accurate to say that I'm not American enough to understand the context. Explain it, please.

You are voting for him are you not? And who is talking about winning anything? We all know that no voting has taken place yet, please don't bring up irrelevant red herrings.

If.....and I mean If.

Trump makes a 3rd Party run I might consider voting for him.

He would have to start acting Presidential and change his vocabulary.

But, I have never and will never vote for either a Dem or a Rep.

So, with all those ifs....I probably will not be voting for The Hair.

Well you're in luck. He's been blackmailing the GOP again to run as a 3rd party as they ramp up their dissatisfaction with his recent rhetoric.

Trump touts new poll showing appetite for third-party bid

So if the GOP doesn't back down this time, you may have your chance. Though, if he does that I can assure you he just handed the Democrats the Presidency.

A Clinton Presidency doesn't scare me.

I made a small fortune when Bill was in office.

If the media called Trump the next Buddha as consistently as they call him a racist, some Buddhist nut cases would come forward and call him the real deal.

This may be the weakest analogy I've read all year.

These comparisons, even if overblown, still need some sort of basis of common ground for comparison. Trump making fun of a handicapped reporter was a common ground with the Nazi's program against the handicapped. Trump flaming the sentiments that America isn't great because of immigration and wanting to ban all Muslims entry has a comparison with Nazi's anti immigrant policy (Germany is only for Germans) and fear of Jews (who were also blamed for not integrating with Germans, not learning the German language, not fighting in World War I to defend Germany, keeping to themselves, owning the banks and businesses in order to control and subjugate native Germans, and wanting to control the world based on the fake protocols of Zion.) Regardless of what is overblown or not, there is a still a basis of commonality.

Trump has no common ground with Buddhism. He needs to actually do some Buddhist things (like be a vegetarian, not covet wealth but choose a path nearer poverty, have an agenda that is pro saving the lives of all animals, not just humans, and be an actual Buddhist,) for that comparison to gain traction. A media outlet could try to call him Buddhist but it would not gain any traction as there is no common ground to draw from. However, xenophobic nationalism is a common ground between Trump's position and pre World War II Nazi ideology. If it's taken too far, so be it, but the common ground exists.

I never said trump has a common ground with Buddhism. I was making a point that if it is repeated often enough it will become true, even if it isn't demonstrably so. I just randomly picked Buddhism.

For one, political Islam is not comparable to Judaism. Immitating someone's handicap is not the same as attempting to eradicate the disabled, nor will it lead to it. 2015 America is not comparable to Nazi Germany, nor will it ever become Nazi Germany. Trump is not comparable to Hitler. This isn't the first or last time immigration immigration was halted due to threat. You're merely regurgitating regurgitation, contributing to this cycle.

StormFront Forces to Upgrade Servers Doe to Trump Traffic Surge

Donald Trump’s racist, nativist and bigoted campaign has grown so popular that America’s most prominent white supremacist website has been forced to upgrade its servers to deal with the Trump-inspired traffic bump.

Politico reports that Stormfront, a website described as “a community of racial realists and idealists” on its homepage, sees a 30 to 40 percent spike in traffic whenever Trump spews his anti-immigrant or anti-Muslim bile.

Why do you guys always always always always always always always ALWAYS make it about Obama. He's ineffectual, whatever, drone strikes are bad I agree, but right now I don't care about him. This thread is about Trump.

I swear, no matter what I'm talking about, there's always the inevitable "but Obama."

Ok, now I understand why you are mentioning Hitler.

even though Trump is nothing like Hitler.

He is a Hillary planted troll - he has no plans to be President - his plan is to siphon votes from the GOP (when he runs 3rd party) so Hillary can win.

www.telesurtv.net...

Donald Trump, the billionaire businessman and reality TV star who has called Mexicans rapists and proposed barring Muslims from entering the United States, is currently leading every national poll for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination—and he has done more in a matter of months to advance and mainstream the ideas of neo-Nazis than self-proclaimed neo-Nazis have been able to accomplish in years.

“Donald Trump is the real deal,” said William Daniel Johnson, chairman of the openly white supremacist American Freedom Party. “This is a unique phenomenon in modern politics,” he told teleSUR. “It is a throwback to a previous era.”

Love him or hate him, agree with him or against him, Trump is making great strides for bigotry and public bigots who have their very own clubs agree, he's doing more for their cause then they could ever hope to imagine.

Maybe Trump so read think about his actions and reflect upon them.

Obama has Trump beat by a long shot in fostering and actually creating racism ten times what it was before he took office. Every time there is an incident that he can play his cards of igniting racism rather than curbing it.

Obama has helped neo nazis and skin heads by giving them more fuel to live by. If he had instead done things to stop the tidal wave of racism that he and the media have created by always informing the black community and other minorities whenever someone supposedly offends them and bolsters the up in arms sentiments, like the assorted race riots in recent times.
Obama takes sides based on race not facts, and the stokes the flames of racial hatred, resentment and rhetoric, rather than waiting for the facts.
Obama was going to heal the nation he claimed, just vote for him, he said.Instead, he incites hatred and racism.
When police give an order to someone that doesn't mean start arguing and harassing the police. Obama could be using his voice to teach people to respect the police and do what they say, when they say it. Disobeying a lawful order is asking for a beat down, and trying to brand the police racists for that is not the truth and is also what Obama has been teaching the black community by taking sides without knowing the facts, and not even respecting the facts, and using these situations to incite more racism.
These are left wing liberal stunts. If there was no racism, they would have nothing to do, like the usual days. No one would need them to "fight in their corner" if they were teaching constructive things that would defeat racism by setting an example that these things will happen when people attempt to use racism as a shield against police and officials and others rather than act responsibly in any given situation..

This crap and the state the country is in right now with the anti this and anti that happening is because the left and Obama have been making it happen so they can pretend like they are needed even more after things happen, then they take sides but do not wait until the facts are in, and just go to preaching racism just happened and we should all be outraged and burn some cars, burn a few police cruisers, and destroy people's businesses.
This is all on Obama..

Same with ISLAM extremists killing people. When it happens, Obama reacts by calling for the destruction of the 2nd amendment when people need to be able to defend themselves when there is a threat growing.
When there are rumors that someone wants to harm Obama, does he tell his secret service people to take a vacation?
Does he go live and say, Someone might harm me so I am going to act in advance and tell my staff to give up their guns because guns are getting out of hand?
No, he adds more guns and people to shoot them, if needed, he adds more armed guards. He always depends on guns himself if there is a threat, but now that there is a threat to the rest of us all, he says we should disarm. Just roll over and be defenseless. What kind of a retard is our current president? He is brain dead and he also thinks everyone is even more stupid than he is

Has Obama even once tried to teach the black community to stop killing each other in places like Chicago, and even once brought attention to the gang problem that actually accounts for most minority deaths? Nah, he only starts honking his horn when the situation has a race factor that he can use, never mind Black on Black killings. That is why the black community is in much worse shape today, than when Obama took office and promised to make it better. He has never tried to make it better.
But lets just go after Trump and make him into the best thing that ever happened to the Neo-Nazi movement instead. News flash, Obama is the clear winner when it comes to creating the conditions for Neo-Nazis to grow in numbers by nurturing every race tainted argument, fights and riots, shootings, etc.

He even wants Islamic Jihadists to continue unimpeded, and he isn't going to make it harder for ISIS to infiltrate the country, but instead has made it much easier. Even allowing them to skip the vetting process by Immigration, and just let them in. He doesn't mind when they kill people in mass shootings since he only wants the law abiding victims to be disarmed.

Wait, what? Racist?

That doesn't make any sense. Like, at all.

Anyone who writes "Like, at all"...

Probably isn't old enough to understand the context.

i think you misread how that "like at all" was written. I didnt see it written in the juvenile fashion.

I was being a bit uppity there as well, my apologies. To put the intention of what I said in a more neutral tone, "I don't understand this. Not at all."
It was partially the juvenile fashion (useless filler), partially used as emphasis due to my writing style that tends to overuse commas.

I probably should have researched more, though I still can't find how "My Boy" could be construed as racist. Condescending, yes, but not racist. However, I am Australian, and some parts of American culture likely elude me.

I somehow get the feeling that if Hitler himself arose from the grave and gave Trump a thunderous applause with 5/5 stars, the people who support him would still support him.

I dunno, Hitler was a socialist so I don't know what he'd make of Trump.

And who here on ATS has really paid attention to what the neo-Nazis are saying over the years? I certainly haven't. But I guess no one does until it becomes political ammo eh?

I do. I also look into different KKK websites, as well as occasionally lurk over at Stormfront. I even posted the party platform of one of the more prominent, current KKK groups a while back, because people kept claiming the group was irrelevant. I was showing that the principles they talk about right now are virtually identical to the rhetoric from America's extreme right wing, which shouldn't be a surprise.

EDIT: I posted that party platform in one of the threads about Anonymous leaking Klan members. Sorry, don't carry enough to search for that post or thread.

Its a shame you don't care, would have been interesting to see what the minority is saying.
