You are voting for him are you not? And who is talking about winning anything? We all know that no voting has taken place yet, please don't bring up irrelevant red herrings.

Well you're in luck. He's been blackmailing the GOP again to run as a 3rd party as they ramp up their dissatisfaction with his recent rhetoric.
Trump touts new poll showing appetite for third-party bid
So if the GOP doesn't back down this time, you may have your chance. Though, if he does that I can assure you he just handed the Democrats the Presidency.

If the media called Trump the next Buddha as consistently as they call him a racist, some Buddhist nut cases would come forward and call him the real deal.
This may be the weakest analogy I've read all year.
These comparisons, even if overblown, still need some sort of basis of common ground for comparison. Trump making fun of a handicapped reporter was a common ground with the Nazi's program against the handicapped. Trump flaming the sentiments that America isn't great because of immigration and wanting to ban all Muslims entry has a comparison with Nazi's anti immigrant policy (Germany is only for Germans) and fear of Jews (who were also blamed for not integrating with Germans, not learning the German language, not fighting in World War I to defend Germany, keeping to themselves, owning the banks and businesses in order to control and subjugate native Germans, and wanting to control the world based on the fake protocols of Zion.) Regardless of what is overblown or not, there is a still a basis of commonality.
Trump has no common ground with Buddhism. He needs to actually do some Buddhist things (like be a vegetarian, not covet wealth but choose a path nearer poverty, have an agenda that is pro saving the lives of all animals, not just humans, and be an actual Buddhist,) for that comparison to gain traction. A media outlet could try to call him Buddhist but it would not gain any traction as there is no common ground to draw from. However, xenophobic nationalism is a common ground between Trump's position and pre World War II Nazi ideology. If it's taken too far, so be it, but the common ground exists.

A Clinton Presidency doesn't scare me.
I made a small fortune when Bill was in office.
Donald Trump’s racist, nativist and bigoted campaign has grown so popular that America’s most prominent white supremacist website has been forced to upgrade its servers to deal with the Trump-inspired traffic bump.
Politico reports that Stormfront, a website described as “a community of racial realists and idealists” on its homepage, sees a 30 to 40 percent spike in traffic whenever Trump spews his anti-immigrant or anti-Muslim bile.

Why do you guys always always always always always always always ALWAYS make it about Obama. He's ineffectual, whatever, drone strikes are bad I agree, but right now I don't care about him. This thread is about Trump.
I swear, no matter what I'm talking about, there's always the inevitable "but Obama."

Donald Trump, the billionaire businessman and reality TV star who has called Mexicans rapists and proposed barring Muslims from entering the United States, is currently leading every national poll for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination—and he has done more in a matter of months to advance and mainstream the ideas of neo-Nazis than self-proclaimed neo-Nazis have been able to accomplish in years.
“Donald Trump is the real deal,” said William Daniel Johnson, chairman of the openly white supremacist American Freedom Party. “This is a unique phenomenon in modern politics,” he told teleSUR. “It is a throwback to a previous era.”
Love him or hate him, agree with him or against him, Trump is making great strides for bigotry and public bigots who have their very own clubs agree, he's doing more for their cause then they could ever hope to imagine.
Maybe Trump so read think about his actions and reflect upon them.

Wait, what? Racist?
That doesn't make any sense. Like, at all.
Anyone who writes "Like, at all"...
Probably isn't old enough to understand the context.

I somehow get the feeling that if Hitler himself arose from the grave and gave Trump a thunderous applause with 5/5 stars, the people who support him would still support him.
I dunno, Hitler was a socialist so I don't know what he'd make of Trump.
And who here on ATS has really paid attention to what the neo-Nazis are saying over the years? I certainly haven't. But I guess no one does until it becomes political ammo eh?
I do. I also look into different KKK websites, as well as occasionally lurk over at Stormfront. I even posted the party platform of one of the more prominent, current KKK groups a while back, because people kept claiming the group was irrelevant. I was showing that the principles they talk about right now are virtually identical to the rhetoric from America's extreme right wing, which shouldn't be a surprise.
EDIT: I posted that party platform in one of the threads about Anonymous leaking Klan members. Sorry, don't carry enough to search for that post or thread.
