My 2nd channel went dead silence- does anyone else have a tactical channel avail? Are there any local LEOS on board that can bump in please?

Local LEOs are going to be busy.

Tactical radio usually isn't on scanner available channels.

Stay vigilant everyone, its about to get bumpy.

I heard this on the radio coming home from the brewery (hehe), and I literally screamed WTF at the top of my lungs!!! My heart aches for the victims and their loved ones.

I'm waiting to see Obama's reaction. When 'enough is enough' and the "line" is crossed once more, all eyes are on him. Don't make a fool and an enemy out of yourself while turning your back on those who respectfully follow the law. What a mess...

okay, just asking because I thought I heard something along those lines earlier but, couldn't say for sure.

Sometimes it's hard to understand what they are saying over the scanner.

In know, right.

It seems that some of the information is arriving late. Now they just announced that have picked up about a hundred people by bus at the gulf course.

Just some more info people need to consider.

Main channels will still broadcast calls for service not related to the incident.
TAC channels are most likely scrambled so we arent hearing everything.
These agencies have MDT's (computers) in their cars so info will be broadcast there and not over the radio.
Due to the size of the areas if calls come in from defined geographic areas it might be broadcast on a different radio channel all together.

Food for thought.

The United States of El Chapo: DEA cartel map of America shows that the fugitive drug lord dominates almost the whole of the US
DFail but has map info on what's going on with these across the US:

The findings were released by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in an unclassified report showing the influence of Mexican drug cartels north of the border.

Have you heard anything from your wife?

Yes thank you, she said she didn't notice anything going on
but was crusing Loma Linda parking lot after dropping her
pat and she said the place was filled with cars and no parking
spaces were available. And that was before this all went
down. But she remembers the tents in front of the E.R.
were already there. They left just before eleven o clock.

I don';t even know what time the shootings began?
Does anyone?

I heard around 11:00 am or so your time.

Glad to hear all is well on your end.

County Health Dept.

I have a hard time thinking too many of them are going to rank all that high in anyone's hit list.

Hey, may have been somebody in there who gave a 65 score to a felafel stand or taqueria.

Get armed to stop it.
The fear is mitigated.

sorry pal, they are here in spades...a lot live up in the foothills along the Sierra Nevada range, also in the remote counties up in the north of the state. and let's not forget Temecula, palm springs, Salton Sea area, deserts, and san Diego area....remember that California in land size, stretches from New York city, down to Savannah, Georgia. in the central valley there are plenty, they are a little more discreet, but in the "letters to the editor" part of several daily newspapers, they are, ahhh...let's say...expressive.

It was kind of a joke statement

But what the hell would be the target value of attacking a center for the developmentally disabled?
As far as terrorism goes, the aim is for the target to be symbolic. 9-11 (US economic center) ..the heart of Paris etc.
Where does a center for the Developmentally Disabled fit in?
This one has me wondering..

The focus of the attack while at a center for the disabled was actually rented out for a county Christmas party.

Still...A san Bernardino County XMas Party seems a reach as a terrorist target. And what? they forgot to shout allahu Akbar? Something is OFF here.

These guys appear trained and coordinated though.

For the sake of ruling out outliers...I would take a close look at the attendees to see if one of them was the target.

This could have been a drug cartel hit.

They have just announced they know where one of the gunmen is. They have two at gun point right now.

One of the gun men is wearing cameo.

Third gun men just step out. Have SUV right now.

While I respect your opinion I dont understand this line of thinking.

It's an ongoing scenario and the real world isn't a movie where the loose ends get tied up at the 2 hour mark.
