Can you just come out and say that they did this because they knew obama was going to be president?

I'm now 10 min. in to that video and I'm going to have to stop unless you can tell me how this applies to this topic.

I've heard all this before and if you're trying to compare Bernie Sanders to Hitler, Mao, Stalin or any of those other Imperialists that they show in the video I'm going to flat out call you insane.

He's not trying to build an empire. He's trying to put the leash back on the necks of the Corporate Elite and their brutal abuses of power which has gone on for so long now that "We the People" no longer have any influence to change things without help from someone in a position of power.

What I think you are failing to see is that Tyranny from a Freedom Stealing Tyrant isn't a possible future. It's already here. It's the union of Paid for Politicians and Unchecked Corporate Elitist Greed for more power over every aspect of our lives. That union is driving us into slavery and despotism.

Worrying about whether or not Bernie is going to institute more Gov. overreach at this point is like worrying about whether or not you left the oven on when you're house is on fire.

How is a company following the tax laws put in place by politicians just like Burnie a tax cheat?

Bernie hasn't put those in place.

Maybe cheat isn't the right word, but it seems to sum it up nicely.
They are not following the same set of rules as the rest of us.

Can you please summarize it for me?
I've watched and read your "here, buzzy, read this! Watch this!" posts....but I'm not convinced that Bernie is a bad-guy.

I understand the whole NWO thing....but, Bernie is still right.....in my opinion.

So - for those who can't watch vids, can you please give us the highlights?

okay, he's proving that government is tyrannical, regardless of who they claim to be willing to help. that anarchy is really the only true form of freedom, and the rest of government forms are simply attempts at controlling every aspect of your life, which is essentially, slavery. however, he does this by describing how the usa is already so authoritarian that no matter who you vote into office, you end up with the same thing, different day.

for example, bernie is a socialist, right? well wallstreet (many of the names on that list) actually funded the bolshevik revolution and profited from it. those guys are probably his buddies. he can say "See, i'm making them pay taxes" and then just refund the money to them later by raising taxes on the slaves.. i mean citizens of the usa. you really do need to watch it. it's the original premise of the hippy movement.

Who is the real criminal here? Is it not the federal government?

Point well taken; but there's plenty of blame to go around. Let's not deny the corporate oligarchs the credit they deserve for destroying our economy. Many of those CEOs and their upper management belong in prison for right alongside the fed critters who aided and abetted their crimes....

Not entirely true.
A company pays income taxes on profits not revenues. When they don't make a profit for the year they don't pay taxes.
general motors lost millions before their bailout and likely didn't pay taxes for those years.

What?

Sorry, I don't understand your point.

The "tax codes" were implemented by the GOP, the politicians who accept lobbying money....
and the companies who offer that "lobbying" money are then able to be off the hook.....

They all (politicians and lobbyists alike) took advantage of the loopholes.

Seriously - this is not rocket science. The government set it up so those CEOs could cheat - and so those CEOs cheated - and everyone knows that.

It wasn't Bernie who set up or organized or voted for those loopholes.

Nono...that's politicians in bed with huge corporations to thwart everything the "commoners" want, and get away with it.

END POLITICAL LOBBYING.

Sure I could if that's what you want.

But actually the U.S. Congress was involved with the bailout loans spanning both Bush and Obama.

The bailout legislation started with the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008

and Troubled Asset Relief Program

So, if it's true the corporations have control over U.S. laws, it would make Congress the bigger culprit as a whole.

The makeup of Congress was similar in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Those seem to be the "big damage" years that klobbered the economy with the abandonment of the tax system by corporations in question.

Because they have systematically and incrementally changed the tax laws and regulations that stopped them from cheating the system.

They buy off crooked ass politicians, NOT LIKE BERNIE and get them to change or remove all the laws stopping them from running amok.

Something you might notice also if you pay attention. You'll see the elites, corps. and anyone else who is on their way to becoming the .01% do what I'm about to describe in one or more ways if you just pay attention.

What happens is at first when "Subject A" needs a boost while they're still trying to get ahead, they will buy some politicians to boost them either with subsidies, or gov. contracts or deregulation or something. This is what I call "Opening the Doors". Then "Subject A" goes through those doors which they paid under the table to have opened. However, once through those doors you'll notice "Subject A" now that he's through the doors and well above the rest of the competition start reversing those very same "Doors" they bribed open to begin with, locking them behind them so nobody else can use them.

Many of the same Corps. that bribed Gov. in the past and loved those juicy subsidies, are now trying to end Gov. handouts and destroy out of control Gov. power!! Why, because they no longer need the Gov. help anymore but don't want anyone else to get help either now they are on top.

Ok, I'm in to that video 5 min. and already I can see why it doesn't apply to Bernie.

It says right there in the video you have to look beyond a Politicians Words and judge them by their actions.

Ok, well check out Bernie's Voting record and his long history in government and what he's accomplished.

watch the whole video. not just five minutes. you'll understand what has me perplexed about all this. how can any pollitician be trusted when working within the confines of a nearly totalitarian government? watch it, purty please.

You guys are fools if you believe bernie will ever get this reform past the house and senate.
If you want to change things you better start at the local level and work up.

How many jobs do these companies provide? How many families rely on these jobs? How much do those employed by these companies pay in taxes? These companies provide a benefit to the economy and the people and families employed and supported by them. Our Federal Government can't say that.

I don't know...you'd have to ask the people in call centers in India, or the wage-workers in China or Bangladesh.

That could be.....but, at least he's speaking up for the regular people and voicing their concerns.

I don't doubt for 3 seconds that Congress would thwart him at every turn.
Nevertheless, the issues are being brought forward, and MILLIONS of regular Americans are going to see him, and listening to him.

I thought our government was employing to many people??
I would bet those people have families that they provide for.
Does those people not pay taxes and also spend their money in our economy?

So by your logic more jobs in gov is good!!!
