all you need to know about bernie, is he voted yes for the last congressional pay raise.
he's no different than the rest of them.

Oh yes he is...as it appears his salary is all he lives on. And he pays his taxes at the rate of 16.9% and donates to charity. Have a read.

On tax returns, Sanders and wife report $200,000 in income — mostly from his Senate post

Free college.

FREE COLLEGE?

It'll only be "free" if we simply surrender all our assets and let government dictate what we should have, eat, where we should live.

Anyone who believes people should be charged to be educated with knowledge that is freely available to all, either comes from a generation fooled into thinking its a commodity...
Or is just too right wing to be any benefit to a nation hoping to grow in all departments.

And who pays for that "free" education ?

Do you have any idea how much it costs to upkeep a university if its to provide quality facilities?

Sure maybe more free scholarships for science and engineering courses. But a blank check for ALL HE? All it would no is low standards and cause bigger debt.

There is a reason the worlds best university's reside in the USA and UK.

@ NWtrucker i would star and flag your op as i agree free university is a pipe dream but you lost me with your Parisian Israeli arse kissing.

Sanders is a socialist........

Im not sure why youre upset.......besides the fact hes a socialist......

hes admitted hes a socialist.......

His whole background and record shows that hes an avowed......devoted.....died in the wool .....socialist......

Im a staunch staunch conservative.........

I despise socialism........aspects I get.......but its not my idea of government.........

If Trump and Bernie are the last two standing.......

Im voting Bernie.......

I do NOT like his policies......but, hes honest, and forthright about them and he stands on his principles...

Id rather vote for a man who is true and has the courage of his convictions than a charlatan who has nothing to offer but platitutdes and lies......

That being said......Go Rand Paul..

Im and Bernie are the only hope for real change

^^^^see you get it.

A honest politician You disagree with is likely better than a dishonest politician you agree with.

Your usual diatribe. You keep up with this boogie man mantra that Israel is somehow 'running the U.S.. What garbage.

Never even a hint of proof. Most American Jews support Democrats, not Republicans. They're in your camp, not the right's.
Those same left supporters, who would have the knowledge of the string pullers, would point them out in a heartbeat.

More accurately, the string pulling is by the left, not the right. I'm sure your more than aware of that.

While I ignore his supporters on ATS, cough, cough, the only organization I've seen him on is the Federal reserve. Of course his solution is to take the bankers of the decision process. What he doesn't give much info on is who gets that power in replacement? How are they selected and by whom?

No one else has a 'Fed', yet the same mechanism is in place world-wide. Be it a dictator or some other committee, the same B.S. occurs.

Put lipstick on a pig it's still a pig. Again, it's no real change, it's just about votes....and power, all at the expense of the rest of us.

Your comment on warfare against the middle class and poor is the justification for freebies that make the middle-class and poor suffer more. If we don't give freebies, then it's 'war'. What utter bull.

I'd say these were more like his true colors.

Single-issue voters are amazing creatures, the kind of creatures who would cut off their own nose, er...vote for a horrible, lying, conniving, corporate whoring candidate who are almost entirely against the peoples'' best interest just because they vehemently and emotionally disagree with an all-around decent candidate with solid values and voting record and goals and priorities because they don't like his or her hair/religion/stand on guns/stand on Israel/stand on gay marriage/stand on abortion/pick your social wedge.

And then some people hear socialism and lose their minds. It's too bad.

Bernie Sanders on the Actual Issues

They're going to try to try to destroy him, already have through his wife...and failed.

He may just be more to deal with and harder to control with big money than many realize. I bet he and Warren have the big money boys and their bought and paid for candidates too pretty worried.

Weird, I believe there was a time when education didnt cost that and you didnt have to sacrifice all those things. But then again we had a very very poor class to step on the backs of, and education was only for the well to do.

So...

Poor people should remain dumb with education out of their reach = makes the most sense.

If poor people are dumb, and dumb people can't get smart, and smart people are rich, than poor people can't get rich, and I get to keep my money longer. I like it.

Personally Id rather see a Paul in office but if it came to a choice between sanders or Bush 3.0 or Trump id pick sanders.

Bernie Sanders is another Ron Paul. A champion of the people and an enemy or "villain" to any yes man, and the world is full of yes men.

So when it comes vote time both sides will vilify Bernie, only so their true candidate can take centre stage. He is the bad guy, the gangster at the table, public enemy no 1.

People just don't see it.

And it ensures that anyone who realy cares is either tied up with a loser, or busy calling him out they wont be of any use to a cause they truly care about.

Exactly your stance! Your own post said you disagreed with his policies but would vote for him due to his 'honesty'?

What's honest about gov't freebies? Do you really believe that we don't pay for it one way or the other? That there aren't strings attached that lessen our freedom of choice in that area? Have you not seen the cost of Obamacare and that "free coverage" when, in fact' it's nothing but a 'co-pay' system that leaves those incapable of making those co-payments in debt to the gov't for the rest of their lives?? Any chance of 'upward mobilty' lost forever?

If this isn't a LIE then there's no such thing as a lie. Utter garbage.

Of course we all pay for things in a society. Schools, roads, railways, police and fire departments, security, and the like.

That's how a society works.

Even the billionaire business/factory owners who shipped our jobs overseas use the roads that we taxpayers pay for to get their products places, and they pay a tax rate lower than the ones us poor schlubs do.

I dont even know were you equate voting for a honest man is voting for Hitler or Mao.

Last I checked Bernie had not declare his desire for a final solution.....unless I missed something....

The terms straw and man come to mind.

I dont think he has lied and admits there is a "cost" be it in higher taxes or cuts in other areas like that bloated military of yours. Again he spells things out unlike his other democrat colleges.

As I said I dont particularly like his policy's but find him at least more palatable than Trump or Bush.

And yeah Obama care was a joke. It was the worst way to sort out your already failing healthcare system and bring it inline with the rest of the civilized world. France, Japan, Austria, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Australia, Switzerland, New Zealand and Canada are still laughing at your joke of a healthcare system!

I'm pretty sure Bernie Sanders isn't a Hitler fan, as his family died in the holocaust.

I kind of like his values all around and don't find them psychopathic or sociopathic at all.

Speaking of "lies"

What "government freebies" are you referring to here, specifically?

How is freedom of choice lessened, specifically, in regard to each particular "government freebie"?

Where, when, how, was the ACA ("Obamacare") ever referred to as "free coverage"?

Can you give examples of cases in which those "incapable of making those co-payments lost their 'upward mobility' forever?"

If you can't do all these things, please state, for the record, that you were indulging in wild exaggeration to make some right-wing nonsense sound palatable. Thx.
