I'd first s#@t my pants if this happened. And then I'd have to rethink pretty much everything I believe.

Rethink, because of the poop in your pants or the prophecy? Cuz I've pooped myself after dangerous road food & no bathrooms in sight for 50+ miles. I won't lie, it changed me...but for the better.

After looking at the video here is my prediction for the 28th and lets see which will come true:

Rain in the Texas, that will cause flash flooding. California, Nevada, on up the west coast will have earthquakes, several of them, as they have every day.

The sun will raise in the east, people will get up, some will eat breakfast, most will go to work, work, have lunch, go home, eat dinner, watch tv, surf the net, look at facebook or other social media. More rhetoric, and campaigning by the politicians for the 2016 presidential race, and then the day will pass.

So which prediction sounds more plausible?

Now if I were to apply science to it, and give this guy the benefit of the doubt, I think he is way too far south, for that kind of earthquake would not be expected in that area, but more north along the cascadia subduction fault zone.

Let us say this is true.

What if the psychic saw a scenes from that movie "San Andreas". Then it would be true, I am sure it is being released somewhere tomorrow.

The old 'doom porn' to get page clicks. Still as popular as ever.

Welp, you clicked on it AND commented, so I guess it's working out for the OP.

I did too, so yeah...

There have been 8+ quakes in Japan since forever. It's on a subduction zone. Very deep quakes can be very strong like 2011. There was a 7.6 three days be for the 9 and several 6+ after shocks . No one ever said Japan wasn't capable of very large quakes.
The San Andreas fault is shallower and is also what they call a slip quake zone. These are capable of strong quakes but not anything like a 9.8. I don't think there's even ever been a quake that strong anywhere on the planet but it there was it wasn't on a slip fault.

Yes subduction zones. Where one large tectonic plate is riding up over another and yes cascadia is a subduction zone.
In a slip fault the land is scraping on both sides of a fault in the case of San Andreas it's a north south slip. Just rocks grinding together.

Probably still more than three hundred years before that happens. They might even be able to predict these things by then.

The beach is going to come to you, though...

It kind of pains me to be a buzzkill here with this humorous thread, but even if this prediction were true, San Andreas having the "big one" will NEVER result in California breaking off into the Pacific Ocean. The two plates are moving in the wrong direction for that to happen.

It's one of the reasons why I think the movie is going to be terrible: perpetuating a proven hoax fear.

This afternoon I made this innocent statement to another human being: "Los Angeles needs to break in half and one portion falls into the ocean, the other hell". Weird (live in the high desert AZ) so am safe and can make the ribald remarks.

Psychics pick up on people, not events themselves. They momentarily can see through the eyes of other people.People in the past and people in the future. Psychics are drawn to the emotional state of people who are having emotional experiences in tune with what the psychic is looking for. In this case they are viewing through the eyes of people a day or so in the future. The people they are viewing through are people sitting in theaters across the nation watching the movie 'San Andreas' as it opens in the next few days.

Ahhh! Absolutely brilliant! Hopefully you are correct and he is not

Honestly, a lot of the time when I'm at work I wish a mega earthquake would strike. It's selfish I know, but it'd be just the thing to snap this whole rat race, day to day, 9-5 hamster wheel BS.

I'm just really tired of my current routine right now. So much so that the thought of a mag 9+ EQ excites me. Hopefully by the end of summer I'll have made some steps forward and will no longer feel this way.

Now how's that for depressing.

Nostradamus future predictions for 2015
predictionsofnostradamus.com...

Western USA will suffer the major earthquake. Mount St. Helen may have the major volcanic eruption happening in May 2015, possibly. Even worse, the events may turn to be the superb volcanic eruption with the beginning of an earthquake.

this gave me chills.

1. Planetary alignments don't cause earthquakes.

2. There's NO planetary alignment scheduled for the 28th (today).

3. The last planetary alignment (Jan 4, 2015), didn't cause earthquakes. It did spawn an internet hoax, though, which said Earth's gravity would be "reduced," and people would be able to float, lol. www.natureworldnews.com...
