I wish the knit bag would show how nice it really looks. I used mohair with a gold metallic thread woven throughout. The closure bead is glass. I use faeries in many of my designs as you can see.

I used to sell crafts on consignment in a nice little shop years ago. It got be like a job and took all the enjoyment out of it. You end up with requests for a dozen of these and half a dozen of those. They take a good percentage of profits and in some items there is a lot of time that goes into making them. We don't have a car right now so I would have a hard time getting to deliver items. I could really use the money, but right now, I feel like it's too much of a pain in the butt.

Selling on e-bay or Etsy or similar sights would drive me crazy having to constantly monitor the sites and sales and delivering stuff. Plus...the competition is brutal! So for now, my family and friends get nice homemade gifts. Sometimes I just give it to them, no birthday or Christmas is necessary. LOL

Morning Gordi and everyone!!!

My elderly Mom woke me at 6:AM, she had never got to sleep the night before. She suffers with a lot of pain. I helped her with her breakfast and stayed while she got dressed and got herself comfortable on the couch. Going to check on her now.

Well, it's nearing the end of July here in sunny Scotland and.... guess what?

We had HAILSTONES yesterday.
YES, Feckin HAILSTONES!!!!!

This is the middle of the local "Glasgow Fair" holiday, and it's famed for having unseasonal bad weather....
But COME ON!!!! HAILSTONES!!!! In July!!!

It is now Raining heavily.
As it was an hour ago.
And Two hours ago.
And 3 Hours ago.
And.... All Day really.

I'm just home from work and the kids are driving my wife CRAZEEEEEEEE!!!! So, I've sent them out to the movies, to watch Minions.

So I can sit in peace and quiet, watching the rain from my conservatory! Bliss.

My life is nothing but work, my man. Get up, spend 2 and a half hours traveling, go to work, travel back, maybe have time for food, then sleep again, lol.
