World news? Should we mourn en masse?

Talk about swallowing the media BS. What about the non famous people on that flight, are they not 'meh' enough?

False idols indeed.

Really?
It was a single passenger plane.

You should actually research a bit before hitting your moral highground.

While it is a terrible incident for all involved I'm pretty sure that you probably wouldn't hear about it only for the fact that Harrison was aboard. So your feigned outrage is moot.

Hope all are ok.

I agree with your sentiment, but I do not think there were too many more people on that plane with him...

For the various wanna be Mulder's on this thread who are too busy to actually read ...

A pilot believed to be actor Harrison Ford crashed a small, two-seater airplane on a Venice golf course just west of Santa Monica Airport.
The small, yellow plane crashed about 2:24 p.m. at Penmar Golf Course, 1233 Rose Ave., not far from the Santa Monica airport, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott.

There was only one person on board the plane — the pilot, who was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Um...

I am going to assume a level of sarcasm, since the pilot appears to have been the only person on board at the time of the crash.

They may have been very very small people in that airplane, hang your head in shame for suggesting Harrison Ford is better than the average commuter.

either that or you read the articles and looked at the pictures before making a statement.
