Yep, same angle each time.

1st it was white and gold, then black and blue and then white and gold again.

I'm going to go back to the op and look at it again.

Okay, just went back and it's still white and gold. I swear though, when I showed my husband it was clearly blue and black.

Ok, I've zoomed in as far as I can on my phone...
& I can now see why people are saying gold (it's more bronze but I get it)...


But I still can't fathom how the blue is seen as white!

Because white and tan/gold is an actual fashionable combination that women wear in tropical climates like the beach or in the summer. Blue and black, not-so-much...too interchangeable/indistinguishable. One is a substitution for the other, not a compliment.

I swear....I saw white and gold. What bothers me is that it the second time I looked at it, it was black and blue. Now when I look at it is white and gold again.

Is this happening to others on social media?

God, I hope this isn't some weird experiment and now I've outed myself as some sort of weird mutant human anomaly.

My guess is that the dress is probably white/off white but all the light hitting it is reflected and it's giving it a bluish hue. If you're seeing that gold as black, your contrast is set wwaaaaaay too high.

...or it's Reptilians. Does seeing it as blue and black require the observer to wear shades like in They Live?

I have no idea what to think about this dress to be honest. I personally like blue when complemented by black, but my wife likes a bit more touch of elegance with white and gold. When we stumbled upon this dress while shopping for formalwear, we were both pleased. She was confused why I let her get it and I was confused why she agreed! It didn't take long before my wife started acting a fool swearing up and down what a beautiful shade of gold it was. Needless to say, I miss her. But I rest assured knowing that she's in good care at the mental hospital in the city. I returned the dress... didn't want to go to the formal dinner anyway.

Well I did wonder towards the beginning if it was a female/male divide, but having looked at the comments section of several posts of the infamous dress, it's pretty much a mix of everyone on either side.
