You mean-

"When a handful of people stop attempting pathetic attacks, Israel will stop murdering thousands of uninvolved citizens with their giant well-funded army".

I see...

Ok. Question. Why does Israel have a right to exist? Why do you want me to assume they do? I don't anymore.

If you say the bible, i will lol. Time to call that how it is. Fiction. A book where the chosen people, chose themselves.

Well researched books by scholars are now pointing out the Jewish people of today as told, is a fabrication. The real descendants of biblical Hebrews, are probably the Palestinians themselves.

Same with the Old Testament stories, not being accurate. These are Jewish historians and archeologists telling us this. Citizens of Israel. Ones who set out to set the record straight, but found something different instead. I tend to trust their research and opinion.

So, that leaves the area of Palestine as conditionally granted to them at the end of world war 2. Seems they are violating the agreement arranged. And have been, since inception. The current state of Palestine is obvious.

In my mind, they have revoked the right to exist in Palestine. Palestine should be given back their lands. They should be given right of return.

A deadline for ending said occupation should be set and enforced.

Most of those "pathetic attacks" are intended to specifically provoke Israeli aggression, the attackers often intentionally hide among the innocent civilians.. their goal in the end is to display in explicit graphic images and video the aftermath of israeli aggression. A propaganda victory, extremely effective at demonizing Israel.

It's too bad, that Israel takes the bait from those cowards every time, and when they try to show restraint, they escalate the provocative attacks until Israel strikes back...

Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

I only have sympathy for the innocent victims caught up in the middle of this endless cycle of madness.

I know very well the tactics of both sides.

Thanks for explaining them to me tho.

ANYWAYS- if people are hiding in groups its ok to "bomb a group of innocent people"? (including children) Really? Is that legit government behavior for you? Lovely. Sorry sir, Israel is the real aggressor and guilty of countess war crimes on innocents for decades.

You can keep your little "blame the few for the actions of the many" thing all you like. Fact remains Israel has crimes to answer to. Not me. Not you.

I don't disagree, too often it is innocent Palestinians that suffer most in this conflict. It's so disproportionate that it must be criminal. It is in my opinion, no way justifiable.

While you may disagree, Hamas isn't blamless in this, nor are other groups and organizations that exploit the Palestinian crisis by using them as intentional targets for Israeli aggression they have provoked.

The position that Israel has no right to exist fuels all the violence.
If the Palestinians are such innocent angels they should lay down their arms for the world to see the evil Israelis come slaughter them. That would never happen but if the Israelis laid down their arms they would be slaughtered that very day.

By what right does Israel have a right to exist? Why do you choose to be blind to all the things Israel does to Palestine?

The Christians are seriously messed up with the idea that this ISRAEL, even remotely resembles the one in the book they claim to follow.

Nothing could be farther from the truth, if they would realize that perhaps the world have a chance, but those in power OWN all religions, and use all of them to carry on the complete nonsense.

And they live for it, to fall for the lies of the leaders they believe MUST be telling the truth.

Explain what Netanyahu said about the 2000 people Israel had killed in Gaza has a victory statement?
How is killing innocent people justifying a victory?

Hamas hadn't fired any rockets into Israel since 2012, and even tried to crackdown on other militant organisations inside Gaza from doing so. Incidentally, it was only after Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, this year, did Hamas actually respond and fire rockets into Israel.

Times of Israel: "Hamas operatives were behind a large volley of rockets which slammed into Israel Monday morning, the first time in years the Islamist group has directly challenged the Jewish state, according to Israeli defense officials.. The security sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, assessed that Hamas had probably launched the barrage in revenge for an Israeli airstrike several hours earlier which killed one person and injured three more.. Hamas hasn't fired rockets into Israel since Operation Pillar of Defense ended in November 2012."

www.huffingtonpost.co.uk...

Really, Israel has no excuse for what it did. Yes, the occasional rocket would fire from Gaza, but they weren't of Hamas' doing. Hamas had responded to what many in the international scene would declare an act of war - a direct attack on their land. Not to mention the fact that Israel had conducted numerous oppressive raids on Palestinians in the weeks before the war.

When I look into the eyes of Netanyahu, I do not trust the guy for one minute. He is an extremist that needs to be replaced by a more moderate political figure if there is to be any chance of peace.

The missile defense and concrete walls must be there to keep out all the peace loving Palestinians from inundating Israel with flowers and koombaya music festivals. That seems to be the direction all this false revisionist history is leading to.

All the Arab nations attacked Israel the day after the Allies granted them their lands. They lost the war they started and lost their chance to have Palestine. It has only been 69 or so years, maybe the world will set up Palestine for a second time to see if they can live as a nation next to Israel. Israel has proved it can live peaceably with Arabs and Christians in the holy lands, the amount of diverse religious groups who are Israeli citizens shows this. Extreme intolerance is only found outside of their borders.

Sharia Law being forced onto people the world over is todays reality. The Jews are not forcing ancient caveman laws onto modern societies with stonings, beheadings, and honor killings. They are not breeding us vs them mentality by labeling every non muslim human an infidel only worthy of fuel for the hell fires.

Yeah, like secluding and occupying an entire nation of people. Like calling for the overthrow of foreign governments...

Oh, and extreme intolerance does exist in Israel. Zionism is a clear example of that.

No, but actions speak louder than words. Israel is an occupying power, and has murdered many civilians since its inception. It is about time Israel grants the Palestinians their inherent right to self-determination by giving them back what's left of their lands. That includes allowing them the ability to form a sovereign state without any internal interferences.

As if the walls are around Palestinians, they are around Israel to keep out terrorists. Can't have a conversation when something as solid as a wall gets manipulated to be something it is not. I suppose the terror tunnels Hamas built under the walls was to escape the wall prison according to your version and not to invade Israel?

Tell that to the Palestinians in Gaza, where the walls are used to restrict their movements and monitor their imports.

Tell that to the Palestinians in the West Bank, where walls and guards are used to restrict their movements.

Terrorism may be the reason cited by the government, but there is no denying the fact that the walls are used to violate the human rights of the Palestinian people.

Walls are still being constructed inside the West Bank. You know, the area illegally occupied by Israel. So don't bull# people.

The walls serve a two way purpose. (1) - to halt any terrorism event, and (2) - to violate the rights of Palestinians.

The terror tunnels, as you put them, are mainly used to import goods as well as contraband. In that effect, they are used to bypass the illegal wars which keep them secluded from the rest of the world. The tunnels do not solely serve a purpose for times of war, although they can be used in such occasions. It is also ludicrous to state that they are used to 'invade Israel'. An invasion is the deployment of troops inside an area - much like what Israel did when it invaded Gaza and installed a buffer zone, shrinking the strip by 40%. You know, something like this rather than small raids into enemy territory:

I am not aware of any country in the world that sharia law has been enforced there, with the exception of maybe Saudi Arabia...But I am well aware of the Zionist ideology/agenda that has been enforced on virtually every body in the world via the media,banks,corporations,etc..So "Jews" are forcing ancient caveman laws onto modern societies with better more advanced tools. They just recently got into beheading video business as well.

Wow...

It is very clear you are living the typical "oblivious western view".

You really think Israel is not guilty of war crimes and that they have been little saints all this time.

Wow...your lack of understanding on this situation is absurd seeing as you are a member here on ATS.

Why did they attack? Was it Ben Gurion's announcement of the name of the nation as the State of Israel, using Ezekiel as his authority? Or, could it have been something else? Like trying to protect Palestine from the genocide that was to come, or themselves as Israel turns to forming Greater Israel? That whole war with Amalek forever thing? Could you tell us the whole story behind that?

Was the whole area a void before 1948?

I'd love to know. I have questions. Thousands of them. :-)

Also, why offend the Christianities? Jesus is the Prince of Peace according to many denominations. It is even listed as one of his attributes and titles, in our Christmas Carols. I found koombya terminology and mocking offensive, and I'm not Christian.

The Palestinians have tried peaceful demonstrations and other peaceful ways of demonstrating but Israel can't handle peaceful opposition as it then can't claim victim hood so it tries to smash it with excessive use of force, skunk spraying, tear gas, and if they can't get someone to react violently towards them so can claim self defence they arrest the leaders of the peaceful protest movements under administrative detention, they also tend to do that with Palestinian politicians who are too good as well.
Israel can't exist without war, it needs war to build Eretz Israel by stealing land from all the countries around it, if you read all the quotes from Israelis former leaders and other leading jews all of the wars were wars of choice by Israel that were later on carefully crafted to make Israel look the victim, Israel has never had a war not of it's own choosing, it's just very good at making the real victim seem like the aggressor as we can see now with the people in Gaza.

As for the present leadership of israel he is held in great regard by other leaders.

Joe Lockhart, former White House spokesman for Bill Clinton, described Netanyahu as “one of the most obnoxious individuals, just a liar and a cheat. He could open his mouth and you could have no confidence that anything that came of it was the truth.”

In 2011 came the famous, but off the microphone, private remark by then French President Nicolas Sarkozy, telling US President Barack Obama: “I cannot stand him. He is a liar.” The more politically correct Obama replied: “You’re fed up with him, but I have to deal with him every day!” A short while before that outburst, it was leaked that German Chancellor Angela Merkel told a cabinet meeting “every word that leaves Netanyahu’s mouth is a lie”

Former US Defence Secretary Robert Gates wrote in his memoir: “I was offended by his glibness and his criticism of US policy, his arrogance and outlandish ambition – and I told National Security Adviser Brent Scowcroft that Bibi (Netanyahu) ought not be allowed back on White House grounds

According to David Miller, following Clinton’s first meeting with Netanyahu in 1996, the president got so agitated that he exploded: “Who the f… does he think he is?

Less than a year later, following a botched assassination attempt on a Palestinian leader in Jordan, Netanyahu lied about the Israeli role in the plot, leading Clinton to tell his staff: “I cannot deal with this man. He is impossible.

Israeli writer Uri Avnery summed up Netanyahu’s pathological lying habits best: “Some do so only when necessary, some do it often, some, like Netanyahu, do it as a rule.”

With such a stellar leader as Netanyahu ( Mileikowsky his real name ) it's no wonder that israel is the way it is today with lies, deceit and more lies.
