What if you're right, but if the revolution should be many, many small acts of non-compliance?

by saying yeah let me know when you fire that first shot "gramps"
You are basically admitting to being too squeamish to stand up for your country. Basically you are saying I am not a patriot enough.

It's very hard for me to see how a revolution would bring about any positive societal change at this point in time, was founding of our republic not the true revolution against most forms of tyranny?
The first nation founded upon the principles of individualism and liberty, the loss of which was caused by many things.
Revolution seems to me to be nothing more than a way to abdicate of our civic duties. It will also most likely take our current problems and present us with new forms of oppression.
Civil disobedience combined with diligence torwards the principles of our constitution, and teaching our young the values of liberty are the better way I think.
All in all, do you trust th voting public to completely build a new American system from scratch?

Incorrect what I am trying to convey is that you are full of it and this is just arm-chair-bsing.
But please continue with all due respect.

I don't see you starting a thread, I bet you like US government too much to start a thread like this.
Apologies if I am wrong.

I don't know maybe it is just me but I don't feel like I live in a dictatorship.
I don't make very much money but still own a house, eat well, go out with friends, go on vacation and generally enjoy life.
I don't fear for my safety everytime I walk out the door. I don't feel unsafe when I go to sleep at night.
I truly feel blessed to live in America.
That being said there are absolutely things I want to see changed within our country and government. Laws, taxes, corruption.
I just get upset when I hear people compare living in America to Nazi Germany. I think that is extremely insulting to those who had to experience it.

I mean you put up with this crap for 75 years. Why now?
An exercise in fantasy?
