Your opinions differ from mine, so you are stupid!
How about, instead, we say, "Your opinions differ from mine, so you are wrong. Let me explain."
What the hell, people?
So if you believe God created the earth, you're stupid?
How about, if you believe in conservative policies, your IQ is low. What the???
Lately there have been some doozies, thread-wise.
It's not enough to be wrong.
Now a caveat; If I've ever called anyone stupid for having a different opinion, then I was wrong. Of course, YOU are wrong for not having the same
opinion as me, but being wrong doesn't make you stupid.
I know this is a simple rant, but why can't people just "agree to disagree"?
Why does it have to go another step and consider someone "stupid"?
If you're a(n)
I won't consider you stupid. I will point out your errors, where your opinions are wrong, I will disagree. . . . but I won't call you stupid.
I hope others take this to heart.
As always, with any of my threads, you are welcome to read, reply, ignore, or simply pretend like you are a robot bent on destroying Sarah Connors
when you are in a crowded elevator.
It's up to you.
