There are more than one way to "annexation". The US have supported political fractions within many nations, so that fraction becoms the political Power of that nation.

The US through Victoria Nuland practically hand picked The Ukrainian political leaders and who they are to collabirate with.

It is a indirect form for occupation of another nation through a Third party Patsy. Letting some fraction of the Ukrainians do the dirty work on behalf of the US.

No Wonder Russia had to go in directly With force.

If I was Russia, I wouldn't be too concerned either. The G8 is just a corporate sandbox - it's all about market access, and if Russia has China and South America, they don't really need the G8 markets. ....I really have a hard time getting excited about Monopoly games, global or otherwise.

US should not have interfered in other countries affairs. By doing this they have throwen the them selves back in to post cold war stages. This was clearly between Ukraine and Russia. No one else. Now Every one is throwing sanctions around. If we are not careful its only a matter of time those sanctions are replaced with WW3 I just see it now. China, Russia and North Korea vs the western world and democracy.

Well, the funniest thing about this news is "World leaders".

Can you imagine the arrogance and stupidity?

Look around yourself in the world ... how many nations are actually "listening" to the US anymore? Surprisingly enough, about the only nation in the world that is actually looking at the US as some sort of a leader ... is CHINA!!!!

defacto reality is, the US has taken up the role of the Soviet Union ... people who speak against the Republic, are "either with us, or against us ..." and jailed, or outlawed. The US, and it's close puppets, are in Afghanistan ... forcing the nomadic people, who want to have their own world, to embrace the United States Socialistic Repubic doctrine. In a biblical manner, killing a man and his donkey too.

And take a look ... economic disaster ... trillions of dollars are vanishing ... the US is BANKRUPT!

Just like the Soviet Union.

Are you really so stupid as to think, the result of that is going to lead you on a road to glory ...

So the G7 can now all pat themselves on the back and say how nice it is that they all agree with each other but that has not solved anything and just allows more votes to be passed regardless of them breaking the law.

Russia was a member and got stabbed in the back when the bankers spent $1-5bn kicking up trouble in the Ukraine and Russia is better off without these type of friends.

This is about western weakness, apprehension and indecision.

This is the Crab at it's finest. Attack it and show it up, it lashes back at you as if cornered. The Crab's bulls#!t isn't working anymore. It must retreat into it's protective shell and cut off all ties to ANYONE or ANYTHING that opposes it. It derives it's power from lies, manipulation and deceit. When it doesn't work it gets well, crabby!

This is devastating news. The G8 represented one of the best opportunities to take selfies with foreign leaders. There is still the G20 I guess but it's too crowded there and you can't get the really good selfies that you can get at the G8.

G8 Kicks Russia out of the group. Group is now G7. This is as of 2014.
