As the price of obtaining raw materials from overseas becomes too expensive, the untapped resources of the immense landmass of Canada will become more and more interesting to America.
If it was only fresh water, the interest would still be there.

TAKE OVER CANADA!!! Canada has liberals, right? Like 30million of them, right? All we need are 4mil to beat the republicans, but 30million liberals! YES! Would take back the whitehouse and Senate and House from the people who took the greatest economy/surplus this country ever had and turned it into an economy equal to Great Depression and created the largest deficit EVER!!!!!! Come on Canada, join the US and help the United States of Canada become the great nation it once was before the Republicans stole it from the people.

Please Amelia, Intrepid, DuesEX, join America and help us remove the War Mongering Oil Pigs in office for the White Collar Jew/Athiest Socialists!

BTW Amelia, is your avatar a pic of you? if so, hubba hubba, you can burn my whitehouse any day.
I think Canada should worry though, if Bush finds out Canada has oil you can say bye bye to Canada.

Yes, but you have oil, look at every other nation with oil..... 2 invaded already, one is being planned right now after getting caught sending in troops to mark places to bomb and using drone planes to scout out the invasion route.

Even worse, Canada has nuclear power, right? So WMDs, well hell, finally a country Bush invades that actually has Nukes.....

Never seen this thread before today so I'll post my reply with a question.

What's Canada got besides good looking women?

Well, I'll answer the question while I'm at it. They've got cold, snow and Moosehead beer. All three of which we can do without.

P.S. Just kidding you north of the Yankees so don't get "T'd off."

I happen to like Canada.

I believe that Canada and the U.S.A. already have sufficient agreements in place to handle any attacks on territory. The missile shield might be necessary as a deterrent. I dont trust the American government in general. Good governance in the U.S.A. seems to be hit and miss. It depends on which administration is in power at the time. Couple that with the belief of so many U.S. citizens that the American way is best, and their belief that if they force their way on other countries, the other country will be much better off.
If you give the American government the right through an agreement to put American soldiers at will on Canadian soil then you have given the American government the ability to create an event and then decide that their solsiers will operate on our soil. Once American government had soldiers in Canada they would never want them to leave. The American government is an ally that I do not trust to be honest with Canada at all. More control and power in the world is the agenda of too many Americans for Canada to be complacent. They are our ally but by their agendas they are also one of the biggest enemies to our sovereignty.

all i have to say is every time i read this thread, whenever an American said something there was a bunch of spelling mistakes. even we were weak in Canada at least we can spell properly, even more so since this threat program has a spell check.
