Good Christmas Morning, in the US anyway. Cody, quit that and get well! I hate to think of you and Shana being sick. Flu is making the rounds here, lots of sick folk. I am holed up and in manic hand washing mode. lol

Meanwhile here is a slight giggle for my Australian friends.



Ladies I know you are busy with family, Night you did a bang up job helping those who were alone this year. Saw you spreading comfort and joy all over the forum. Wonderful to see, oh and congratulations on your engagement! lmao

Hi guys

I hope your Christmas was all you wished for and more, my Christmas day started well enough and I held on just long enough to help get the food on the table.

From there on it was slide into a malaria induced delirium, kind of like being drunk without alcohol, Mrs C put me to bed at some point, and came to fetch me a bit later for present unwrapping.

I don't remember much of it, but everyone seemed to have fun and there was laughter and joy.

So today I intend to make up for it.

I feel washed out but a hell of a lot healthier, so I'm going to make it up to the family by cooking the best roast rib of beef in the history of roast dinners.

Then I'm going to make up for all the fun I missed out on, and spend the day teasing my nieces.

I'm probably the only one not hungover, and am certainly the only one awake LOL

Have an awesome boxing day one and all and thanks for taking the time to be here yesterday

Thanks everyone for the well wishes, still sick but its clearing up, i totally lost my sense of smell and taste yesterday, i felt like crying i couldnt even taste all the awesome food, and my mum made me awesome caramel vanilla soy candles and we had them burning i couldnt smell them at all, got new perfume, couldn't smell it and it just made my nose sting haha.. Apart from that we had a fabulous day, my kids got totally spoilt we had our family and some friends here and it all rolled on until after 4am this morning, im pretty tired today lol. I hope everyones day was great!

Cody that sounds pretty rough we dont have very good luck hey, but yeah you always have today to make up for it while everyone is still together! We did a beef rib roast yesterday alomg with a shoulder of pork on the weber bbq thing was really good, plus turkey but i don't like turkey.

I don't really remember much to be honest, just remember being cold and shivering a lot LOL
But I think I'm back up and firing on all cylinders again

I just took Mrs C. out for some fresh air and a walk in the local town (It was bloody freezing) I decided I'd had enough of shivering over the last few days LOL. So we cut it short.

Sorry you were rough as well, but sounds like you had fun and let's face it Christmas is all about the kids first and family.

I got some T shirts, (I love cool T's) new headphones and wait for it ......................... A science putty alien little things amuse little minds, so I'll have hours of fun with that one

I have the 18V ones to compare with and these don't give much ground. Awesome.

Now, whenever I pick them up, a stray thought goes through my mind. Hey, my kids gave me these. Cool.

Good morning All! Geez, it is hard to come back to work, for one day. I really thought about calling in sick today. But so many people took it off, we are down to 4 or 5. I was smart and took January 2nd off though! Even though we are staying home for New Years.

We had a nice quiet Christmas, with my youngest. Poor kid, something happened to their apartment, so they stayed with us for 4 days. Wasn't bad, except having an extra dog, that isn't real friendly with other dogs.

Can't blame the poor thing though, it got attacked pretty bad a while ago, by their neighbors dog. All I can say is, never get rid of the child gates. They do come in handy for guest dogs!

@ phoenix: You boys and your toys. I bought hubby the miter saw table he wanted. He loved it, but said he knew he was getting it. I said how?
Apparently, I stared at it too long in the store?! LOL Who knew he paid that much attention to me, when in a row of tools?

Glad you had a good Christmas Chiefs If Mrs C stopped in a tool isle for more more than 1/2 a second I think I'd fall over !!
But try to get her away from the fruits now that's a challenge, Oh and the baking isle, oh and the herbs and spices , oh and, well you get the picture.

Luckily I quite enjoy shopping, I'm particularly enamored with the fresh fish section, I have no idea why, I can't even eat fish LOL.

Maybe the lure of the forbidden or something like that.

Oh sounds like sis and her family have arrived for dinner, I'd better go check on the meat.

Good move taking the 2nd off I did the same

I love my family very much, but I also love my bed . If I have to be ill, which is rare, then I want to do it in style at home LOL.
