The issue of terrorist entering the US from Mexico border has been on headlines before, but already forgotten because the propaganda pro immigration bills.

Middle Eastern Terrorists Entering U.S. Through Mexico

The U.S. government is covering up the growing threat created by Middle Eastern terrorists entering the country through the porous Mexican border, according to a veteran federal agent who assures the area has never been secure.

The U.S. Border Patrol has captured thousands of people who have been classified as OTM (Other Than Mexican) along the 2,000-mile southern border and many are from terrorist nations like Yemen, Iran, Sudan, Somalia and Afghanistan. The feds call them SIAs (Special Interest Aliens) and the government doesn’t want Americans to know about them.

The alarming information has been exposed by a 30-year veteran of the federal immigration system with the help of an Atlanta news station that’s dug deep into the matter and uncovered disturbing evidence. It reveals that actual terrorists have been caught along the border and the government wants to keep Americans “in the dark,” says Michael Cutler who spent three decades working as an agent for Immigration and Naturalization Service before its name changed as part of the post 9/11 reorganization that created the Department of Homeland Security

Doesn't this makes you mad? that while we are been spied by the illegally NSA the government have no problem bringing and allowing terrorist to come into our nation.

Then you most wonder for who or whom is our for the people government working this days.

Back to the OP: IMO, if they are contributing to society by working, etc and not engaging in any illegal or criminal activities then I think they should be granted citizenship. Period

Why should they be "granted" citizenship?

You do realize there is in place a process for becoming a U.S. Citizen,
why should this process be changed?

You also realize that the U.S. is not alone in a citizenship
process, so one can hardly claim the process is discriminatory!

By the logic of the DHS spokesman, why should countries have
citizenship at all?

The Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), Pub.L. 99–603, 100 Stat. 3445, enacted November 6, 1986, also Simpson-Mazzoli Act, is an Act of Congress which reformed United States immigration law. It was an attempt to solve the immigration problem during 1986.

en.wikipedia.org...

Bottom line:

About three million undocumented immigrants were granted legal status through this act.

They keep coming because sooner or later it's instant citizenship!

And I also find it highly strange there are now more illegals here since the creation of DHS.

What is not mentioned is the Fact that Some Illegals entering the U.S. are here for Espionage purposes and possible Terrorists Acts . What the Hell is the Obama Administration and the NSA doing about that ?

You recall Fast and Furious? Heck, the Obama administration was funneling weapons
to them, I would say that more than a few "terrorists" could have sent them thank you notes?

I'm tired of people saying the US should do things like X country does things.

Such an irrational argument.

Do you want America to be America, or do you want America to be like Mexico, or Sudan, North Korea, or whatever other country? America is unique, which makes it great. Saying it should do things or be like like other countries is a huge fail.

The same could be said about healthcare.

Yep the only country we shouldn't be like is Mexico.

Any other is fine.

I believe they should already have dual citizenship, as Mexicans are akin to natives and have no borders. My friend and the others in the band drive into the US with their status cards. Now I don't know if recent changes have taken place, but they would unlawful.

On the other hand, have heard that obama has been bringing in shariah types and putting them in the US military most likely for a very bad agenda, so wonder if thats true. I wouldn't give citizenship to any who believe in shariah or theocracies and have violent roots.

Those who have lived and worked here for years should have the option of becoming citizens, however I really think most Mexicans should be ensuring their country surpasses the corruption of the north and they make norway in the southern hemisphere and stop all the nefarious plans of the major power brokers from influencing them.

If I was Mexican, I'd be in Mexico, fighting for social justice, or finding a way to have my own little farm and share with everyone.

This is all so wrong...my experience with illegals is the crowding of the ER at
hospitals where they get FREE treatment regardless of just a simple cold to
something serious & they never have to pay. Most of the crowding I experienced
was in Los Angeles. Sorry but none of these experiences should take precedence
from our own people. I should not have to wait 12 hrs to see a Doctor in the ER
because there is an illegal who is shot due to they decided to participate in gang
violence. It is wrong to give them free medical & free education when we do not
take care of our own!

Also it is so wrong to have so many people here without jobs & people buy into
the bloody myth that Americans don't want to work or are too lazy for certain
jobs is BS! I get so tired of seeing illegals doing gardening work for $15/hr or
higher for cash! They do NOT pay any taxes & is alot more than someone making
$20 or more an hour & paying taxes plus health care being deducted...hello we
are losing big time!

Cheers
Ektar

And that indicates another hidden "statement" by the DHS ....

He is suggesting the global agenda as well.

These guys are tricky.

Yes you are right, people forget that this happen before, yes . . . under the Regan administration and back then the amount of illegal immigrants that were granted amnesty were not as big as the millions we have now.

Sadly all the promises under the amnesty bill of Reagan were never enforced and we are now facing double and more of illegal immigrants once again

I still say the immigration laws work as they were designed.

Every single country has them.

Every day thousands if not millions of OTHER people from around the globe want to come here.

They get in line.

Then a group of people think they don't have to wait like everyone else, and run for the border.

I wonder how those people waiting in line 'feel' about that.

Because all appearances tell them they don't rate for nothing.

Someone else does, and it has nothing to do about doing the right thing.

Because this country has an over abundance of people who think they don't have to.

It has everything to do with politics.

Indeed, they sure are, they try.
The Orwellian doublespeak could not
be more obvious!

I guess they know their audience, and the ones
who hear the "spoken" message.

Time and again, the same thing, the agencies that are in place
to enforce are hand in hand with the hidden agenda.

FYI

Amnesty under Clinton too:

In 1994, an amnesty for illegal aliens (Section 245 (i)) was added to the FY 1995 Commerce, Justice, State Appropriations bill. The rolling amnesty ended on September 30, 1997, and resulted in 578,000 illegal aliens being granted permanent legal status.

www.examiner.com...

While it is never reported on, nor spoken of in today’s ongoing debate on illegal immigration, Bill Clinton granted amnesty to at least 3,000,000 illegal aliens and with his actions--undoubtedly encouraged millions more to enter the U.S. illegally.

It is an American tradition!

Rewarding those who break the law!

Fine then I don't have to obey the law.

Neither does anyone else.

Pick any law you want.

You don't have to follow it!

Let ANARCHY rule!

They've 'earned' citizenship? How, with stolen identities, fraudulant papers, a complete disregard for our laws? We have people who come here with respect through proper channels and wait their turn. How dare these illegals cut to the front of the line!

We have had amnesty before and didn't work, it only brought more illegals here, millions more!

Reagan thought the same thing. After all he did give them blanket amnesty.

The Government is very ignorant if it thinks that the illegals will start paying taxes and become model citizens if they are granted amnesty. There are many, many illegals in my neighborhood, and some of them have told me how they scam the system to get tons of benefits that they are not entitled to. For example, different families "Borrow" each other's kids, and claim them as their own so they can get all kinds of food, health and other government assistance. These kids have 2, 3, or more different fake birth certificates, and when they go to get benefits, they choose a corresponding birth certificate for whichever family is applying for benefits. Even though a family has only 1 or 2 kids that are really theirs, they "borrow" other kids and say that they have 4, 5, 6 children, etc so that they can get much more money. Many of the families do this, and it is next to impossible to tell who actually belongs to who.

Another trick they use is to use false documents to get a house, then once they become established, they take out an equity loan and as soon as they get the money they move and assume a new identity to get another house, etc, and do this until they become rich. Add that to the drug dealing, working under the table and not paying taxes, welfare benefits, etc, and they have it made. Does anyone actually think that they will give all of that up and actually pay taxes if they are given amnesty???

They proudly talk about how they scam the system like it's nothing, even though they are committing felonies. They just don't care because they know that it is next to impossible for them to get caught, and if they do, they know that they can just get more fake documents, a new name and start all over again.

Some of the stuff I have been told by these people is sickening, and it makes me so angry that they can get away with all that while real American Citizens like myself bust our butts working and doing things legally, all so that the government can take it away in taxes to give to those same people who are breaking the law while laughing at us.

It's totally unfair. Illegals need to be deported, no if's and's or but's.

True. The ones I knew would claim they were a one income household while they worked full time and their spouses worked full time under the table. Together they made well over the poverty limit and were recieving benefits. These people can be so sweet, thoughtful and just genuinely nice people and these things shocked me. I just didn't expect that. There are some who claim children that arn't theirs and don't even live in the country.

Many will come right out and tell you that they have no desire whatsoever of staying. They save up money and return well off in their own. Just about all of the illegals living here send a lot of money back home to their own country. We have billions of dollars leaving the country.

Then we have the really undesirables who have killed and maimed people, or pedophiles and have had previous arrests and deportations. Too many lives have been lost or ruined over the years because of illegals and our laws not being enforced.

It's more of the poor work ethic of so many in America today. Too much effort to do the job, especially once it is gotten out of hand. Just ignore it.
