Being a nosey old cow, I'm just curious as to how many of us are on here.
This is not some sort of separatist thing or 'call to arms', I think it would be good if we got to know who we all are.
A long while back, I did put out that being a small country we could try and have a 'meet up'. It didn't work.
So I'm just thinking it would be nice to get to know each other on here because I have a sneaky suspicion our numbers are many. I would also like to see us making more posts on british topics other than the weather being our favourite pastime and our quirky sense of humour when we talk about it.
I think it would be good to have more Brit posts on what is going on here not just for ourselves, but for the international community that is ATS to really see what goes on in our little neck of the woods and our opinions on them.

OK.....I've stuck my neck out....*sits back to see what happens*

Not that old and not that nosey depends on whether you committed the cardinal ill post an old photo routine! When really you look like someones granny. One can usually determine age based on vitals if photos 10 years old.

ps: only joking. you look good for an old lady. Oh and dont anyone assume Im getting freshy

Yep, present, crazy and correct!

Well ok, I've got the crazy down.

Nice to see at least one person hails from the same place as me, with another remembering an event when they lived there, that took place a few years back, at the time, living in my exact current location...in fact I haven't moved an inch since my creation!

Where am I?

I'm between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District Jane, half an hour inland from Morecambe Bay.
Why, I simply don't know.
It's mostly cold wet and nasty, and the rain goes sideways.
Otherwise it's achingly beautiful.
Did I single-handedly fight my way into a hopeless situation,
or does my better half's motto "Catch 'em young, treat 'em rough, tell 'em nowt," have a bearing on the subject ?

Were I able to sling her over my shoulder and head for Andalucia I would.
It's warmer there, even the rain is nice.
I've been warned about lifting things, and NOT by a magistrate, a physio !), so until she gets the retirement bug, here we are.

What would you like to talk about ?
I take an interest in our ancient history, which along with our local politics, may be of limited geographical interest.

So, are we all bracing ourselves to be invaded and attacked by false widows whilst waiting for the storm of the century?

Wales here.

Currently staying on top of a mountain in the path of the storm.

On a good day I have a view as far as Bristol but when the clouds roll past I can hardly see the street below.
