Good afternoon to one and all from South Devon.

As I lived in Hove when the last big storm hit and literally watched as the trees were uprooted in Hove Park then and we now expect another. I hope to be still be here after it has passed as I can see the sea from my house and we do feel the winds when they pummell the front of the building.

Simon in Brighton - don't post much myself but a regular reader- enjoy your posts, I don't think there's a better site- David ike /before it's news/ GLP/ etc just don't compare- but there is a lot of American political Borden to wade through.
In true British style I shall keep you informed of the weather here on the south coast
