I remember watching discovery channel episodes of Dynamo "magician impossilbe" a few years ago and figured to start a thread about it. Is this guy for real or what? Maybe he is an alien living among us or just talented?

I got inspiration from the phil schneider thread talking about his father working with aliens.

Is this posted in the correct forumn or should it be aliens?

All comments welcome. I dont recall anyone starting a thread about this so...

it looks like he had a a platform set up just under the surface to walk on before hand and then he hired two kyakers to randomly cruise by at the right moment to make it look like there was nothing in between the dock and the person. when really all the kyackers had to do was not hit the platform with there paddels as they went over the platform.

I think this guy is just a good illusionist.

At 2:40 mark when the boat approaches him look behind him and you can see the water acting different. If I had to guess its a clear piece of plastic sunken just beneath the surface. I can tell you I fish 5 days a week and can notice when a single bait is just below the surface. Just like in fishing I can see the water disturbance by the object under it.

FAKE IMO.

Plastic underneath. Here, this link of the Masked Magician shows you exactly how it's done, including those "random" passers-by.

Maybe someone can explain this one as well. He is walking down the building.

Unreal! If he isn't "one of those living among us" then he is one hell of a magician. It beats the normal boy in a box with a saw

It is a trick.. Still fairly amazing however. I was blown away when I saw his bus levitation trick. It has since been explained. If anyone can upload this to this thread I would appreciate it. Have not figured out how to do so yet with the new system using my phone.

Bus Levitation trick.

Do you really have to ask if it is real??
No man can walk on water, its impossible given the surface tension of water.

Its an illusion, clear perspex hidden just below the water line.

See Criss Angel threads here....... He's not exactly "walking on water" more like sloshing on a platform about 3 inches below the water. If he were really cool he would just sink below the surface where a Scuba diver could give him a tank and swim far away looking like he just "vanished".

Also notice how is feet are not floating on top of the water, they are submerged.

If you could walk on water I'd imagine you'd actually have to be 100% on top of it, not standing on water beneath the surface.

The trick he does in the record store is pretty cool... if anyone can upload it? Water trick is a platform, bus trick is with a fake arm..

I'm positive he didn't "walk on water".

It's called an illusion.

I bet when he talks about his tricks he calls them illusions.

The guy is good but he's just a man, magic is pretend.

Camera tricks, ropes, and a fake audience/crowd that makes it look legit.

If not believing in magic, fairies, wizards or all other examples of mythical beings means someone is atheist then yes I'll be labeled as such. Cause i'm not buying any of this hocus pocus BS including the biggest myth of all....A guy who sits on a cloud and controls every person animal and element......yea right.

Humans have invented over 3000 gods, what makes yours real and all the others fakes?

Ive noticed every thing he does has an elemental aspect to it.

So is it possible he could be a Djinn, an alien hybrid or is he just a very advanced Wiccan?

As entertaining and refreshing some of the stuff Dynamo does, is ...
I find this stunt to be the least impressive, you should really check out some of his more simple, realistic tricks. Very good indeed!

But be under no 'illusions' - none of it is actual magic, or sorcery!
