Hello ATS ,

Here is some information concerning Lateral Genetic Transfer :

Link :www.pnas.org...

and the incredibly efficient design structure of a Virus :

micro.magnet.fsu.edu...

A recent post inspired me to post the information to you.
I have "brushed" upon these subjects before, but I think that it is time to bring to light
certain details regarding these matters, their questionable history, and the life changing
influence upon our world today.

The "Intelligent Design" of the Virus Structure is under current debate and troublesome.

Here is some helpful information on LGT for those that are unfamiliar with the scientific term.

Also described as Horizontal Gene Transfer , which is somewhat inaccurate. As "Horizon"
is based upon a viewpoint.

Here is an important link to the current open issues under debate :

Wow, that's stunning stuff, thanks for posting. The idea of our genes changing at any point in life is really out there. Strange times.

Re Combi is where it becomes even stranger than Ray Harryhausen (Sp.)?
In a very dangerous way.

Can this virus be used to induce genes of other animals into mankind's gene pool? I'd like to be camouflage like a chameleon.

LGT and obligate intracellular parasites may have applications.

But viruses tend to inject code in a destructive fashion; this tends to be self-defeating. Perhaps there are methods of efficient targeting which have been/are being developed.

Generally , No. That is why the current Viruses under analysis are troublesome.
They appear to be Genetically Modified.
You could borrow some of my clothes and habits if you need help with disguise.

The Structure of the "Virus" is clearly an intelligently designed delivery system.
It is geometric and robotic in structure and purpose.

Smart fellow that you are,
peer into LGT modified and adapted to a most efficient delivery system.
Consider the containment issues.

Hm, I see. Thanks for the info.

Cloths don't change according to the environment they're in...

Point Taken,
I was trying to humor you into considering the genetic alteration
into A Black Swan.

I'll admit that I have a WRY sense of humor.

Oh Well, Nobody is Purrfect.

Yes. I understand what you are talking about.

I'm concerned more about discovery and modification than containment.

Containment is always doomed to failure; change/the unknown, in this particular, is a greater issue.

*any freshman can understand what you are talking about. Thankfully, most of them have no sense of imagination.*
