It's Time to Act

(I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, please do feel free to move it.)
We need to take a stand,Not only against Monsanto, but the corrupt world governments that crush the life from their people. We should not be giving up liberties to feel safe. We should feel safe knowing that we can do what's right. The people should not fear their governments. The governments should fear their people.

We were all born and raised to think for ourselves, but the media would have you chasing after this false image of hope. Of peace and tranquility where there is none to be found.

The shadow shrouds us, it is slowly encroaching our very being. We are slowly being stripped from everything we held dear. The contentment that we should have..., Where did that go. How long has it been since we were all truly free. I'll answer that for you. Far too damn long. If ever.

We need to stand up and think. Think for ourselves, don't listen to some crackpot on the T.V. telling you everything is all hunky-dory. You know deep down that it's not. Alone, there is little we can do against the oncoming onslaught that will leave us hopeless and alone. We must stand together, for together we are great. We are mighty.

It's time for us to awaken to the harshness of this reality and do whatever is in our power so that we can truly be free. Socialism will fail. Our dreams, no matter how far fetched they may be, will not. Only together can we breathe the air and look upon the earth and all of her glory as a free people. Free nations without fear, without sorrow.

Change is coming, it's up to each and every single one of us to make sure that this change is for the better. Our lives, our hopes and dreams are hanging in the balance. If we do not stand together, if you all remain sheep, then all will be lost. Everything that we want for ourselves will be forfeit.

I shake now as I write this because I know many of you will read this and laugh. As you sit there with your blinders on, ignorant to the fact that even now, choices are being made for our children, our grandchildren. Do you not want freedom for them if not for yourself. Would you want your own flesh and blood to be crushed beneath the hill of some relentless machine, because you didn't have the nerve to say enough is enough.

I wouldn't want that. I don't want that for them. Our children are our future. Without them we have no hope. We have no future. Many people will say I'm paranoid, that I'm over-exaggerating . Looking too deep into things. I cannot express how wrong they are. We all deserve freedom. In times long past, we rose up. We told the King that we weren't going to take anymore. So he sent a force to quiet us.

We showed him. We fought long and hard for our freedom. Where did our determination, that spark even go. With all of the ammo being bought up and the constant attack on our rights, be it on the first amendment. Taking away our freedom of speech. Our freedom of Assembly.

Or the Attacks on our Second Amendment rights. Heh... They're taking our guns, the assault rifles are first, our semi-autos will go next. They are doing the same thing Hitler did in Pre-WWII Germany. They just let the man take all the rights away, before declaring martial law.

Are we to suffer the same human rights violations, those rights afforded to us by the United States Constitution, just for a false sense of security? I don't feel very safe. Even now as I clack away at the keyboard, I fear my name ending up on the list. That some government agency is going to kick in my door, and a light will vanish.

It's Germany all over again, and I don't know how much further things are going to have to go before you people begin to wake up. The time to act is now. Contact your representatives, your Senators and Congressmen and women. This needs to end. We fled England to be free from persecution. Yet now... it's all we have, We need to say enough is enough.

We can't back down and we can't just go away. For we are the only ones who can do anything about it. I beg of you wake up. The time for dreaming has long since been over. Now is the time for action.

Great post, big question is what are you actually going to do besides post here? Words come easy, risking ones life, freedom and criminal record is not so safe.

If you filled out your tax forms for "The Man" this year then you are nothing more than empty words. A rebel who funds the other side is not a rebel at all.

I can't say I have, I've been surviving on VA Disability. I'm spreading this around like wildfire. Today I'm hitting up a friends house so I can print this off. Pass them out at the March on Monsanto. So I'm doing more than most. After all we have to do what we can with the little amount of time we have left. Peace be with you

Ya know, if I was the government and I wanted to coax out the "rebels", I would post messages all over town inciting people "to act" against the government.

"Hear Ye, Hear Ye, the revolution begins in five minutes. Everyone who would like to participate should assemble in the town square."

I wish we could do something but in reality we need a majority of people to stick together, five percent is no good to get anything accomplished. Wait, the truth will come out in the near future and everything will fall into place. Many people will suffer from these greedy acts of corporations till this time though, just try to make sure you are not one of these people that are effected. Don't eat much GMO food, a tiny amount isn't going to kill you occasionally though. Avoid eating processed foods, the attractants they put in them aren't good for us if overconsumed, a few treats occasionally won't hurt. Buy local, the miticides they spray on things to extend their shelflife are not good for us if we don't safely neutralize them.

A complete forfeiture of freedom. With the ability for Military Personnel to be able to be deployed to "civil disturbances". Thats only a hop, skip, and a jump to martial law.

Revolution will not come until there is a complete collapse of the world economy. Funny thing is there will NEVER be a complete collapse of the world economy. Some countries will do well, some will not. Over time the conditions will reverse for most.

Why do I believe this? Because the people that run the show only make gross amounts of money when people can buy their crap and make their goods. Welcome to working for the Company Store America.

There's a new app out there now that's free and I think it's just what the doctor ordered. It's called "Buycott" and it allows you to boycott companies like Monsanto by scanning your shopping cart with your smart phone. I started a thread about this new app and you can read about it here;

Well that will not keep me from trying. Eventually my calls will be heard. It will just take time and effort. I can't give up. I won't. This is just about the most important thing I have ever done in my life, I will not stop trying. Capitalism or not.People tend to listen when they're hungry, angry, and downtrodden. I just need to find the right minds that will help spread the message.

If you were wrong, the people wouldn't be buying weapons and ammo as fast as they can be made by every country on earth.

The time aproaches, there will be a reconing, a recounting of grievences, and harsh justice metted out.

The only question is which side will you, the individual be on.

several strategies to consider include but are not limited to sapping their funds by spending money against their efforts, utilizing their resources against them and for the less fortunate, be constantly aware of their actions while remaining microbial in appearance and colossal in strength, empower everyone around you and keep them well informed. i can't stress enough that the boxer to land the first hit loses the bout

There are two tools available to a US Citizen to take such a stand...

1. Their consumer dollars
and
2. Their vote

Most simply don't do the research when spending number 1. They look for value for their buck. Not saying it is wrong, but there are some things, the research helps with, especially if the savings difference is null or minor.

Same with number two. Lack of research, and the trap of feeling they are stuck with only the mainstream candidates. They don't research the issues, the candidates' plans for those issues, and simply choose what they feel is the lesser of two evils.

Very well stated!

Another issue though, as far as voter go, is that it is a fact, the better looking of 2 candidates, no matter their views are stance, is over 90 percent more likely to be elected.

So people are voting with their eyes not their heads, which is frankly, about as dumb a situation as I can manage to imagine.
