Nobody phone in. Just let CNN wallow in its ignorance and sluggishness!

I laughed too. They actually have been doing a great job of maintaining professionalism IMO. I've been listening A LONG time too. With the exception of "In N Out" (which was hysterical) didn't hear anything embarrassing.

Proud of all the people that worked their asses off during this manhunt. Glad to know there are people like this looking out for me and those I love.

Yes, we didn't hear anything else about it though.

If others ran from the scene I find it hard to believe that this is over.

Based on what people who knew the suspects are saying about them and their background, they had to have been contacted by other individuals and involved with a larger group. Many things do not add up, hope info comes out quickly and unfiltered through intelligence/federal LEO agencies

Epic thread. Well done.
And kudos to the mods for staying up on it.

A few things are sitting a bit askew with me (oh, come on...this is ATS!):

* CBS News. Anchor noticed that the ambulance didn't seem to be in a hurry.
* On one of the scanners earlier in the thread (not the 'main' one, but the other one) I heard a mention of "National Guard units [garbled] at [garbled] hospital. It definitely wasn't Mass. General. Why?
* Homeowner reports looking under his tarp to see a bloody mess. Then there's a firefight when the cops get there (first three). Obviously he was already hurt pretty badly, and possibly hurt again in the firefight. What was the point of the flashbangs? They seemed to go in after the HRT got there too.

Just thinking aloud. Hopefully there will be more details to come.
I hope he makes it to court.

I'm not sure this is over yet. My husband is active duty military and doesn't have access to the kind of explosives this kid and his brother had. They had to have help.

I suspect you are right.

Will be interesting to see what's ferreted out on that score in the future.

Thank you again to all the users that kept us all up to date! It has been truly appreciated by me.

Thank goodness they took him in alive. I *hope* we can get some real answers & I hope this kid squeals like a rat on his "colleagues".

Off to bed. I have to fly out of Logan tomorrow AM.

OR maybe they are innocent patsies. Does anyone remember what the word "suspect" signifies, and how meaningless it is?

First news conference earlier tonight at the end they said it would be the last news conference of the evening unless there was a significant development. I'm betting we'll get another one a little later tonight

If he is still alive he is still innocent until proven guilty, as stated by the farce of the American Justice system,

they were just the scapegoats, if they knew it or not, more innocent being taken down for nefarious reasons

CBS NEWS: In the clip they showed the ambulance was moving down the street as fast as they could. Speed isn't going to save his life, treatment on the ambulance by the EMT's will.

ON ONE OF THE SCANNERS: I didn't hear that so can't comment.

HOMEOWNER: As long as your possible target is still functioning I think playing it safe is the correct move.
