Mind trip through metaphor 7. The hungry caterpillar.

Watching spring watch on tv earlier, there was a small section about butterfly's. It showed one coming out of its chrysalis. I remembered a day. Way back when I was in infant school, just out of nursery. The teacher was reading us a story. I'm sure most have herd it. The very hungry caterpillar. Then I thought about the caterpillar that's been eating all my broccoli I've been growing. Then the mind trip began.

In a nut shell.

The egg hatches, out comes a tiny caterpillar, it's hungry,

it eats and eats and eats. Till its huge. It eats the whole garden and more.

Then something happens, the caterpillar went within its chrysalis. When it came back out, It was a beautiful butterfly.

In the mind trip the whole of humanity is the very hungry caterpillar. We all consume.  Let's overlay this story over the past and current generations.

Humanity is born. 
flic.kr...
It's hungry.
 for knowledge an resources. 
flic.kr...
It grows.... Consuming...Consuming...
flic.kr...
flic.kr...
Then something happens. It's time.... It goes within...
flic.kr...
Then.......
flic.kr...
flic.kr...

The time to come out is now.

That is an extremely damn thought provoking OP...

Thinking we are shackled to just this one form... The fact that in nature creatures change form; we should really be more open to the idea.

Very interesting thread. I have never looked at the story that way before!

OP it might help the story along a little bit if you embed the images instead of having links.

It would really help the cause of what you are trying to convey. Just a thought.

I'm sorry, I'm on iPad n don't know how to embed the pictures. (any tips would be helpfull . You are right as the pics tell half the story. It's not a riddle though, just subtle messages I see everywhere.
