Did you all read about the supposed "break in" which took place in the Republican headquarters? Get this - they're claiming campaign plans (or something to that effect) were STOLEN. Yes, you read correctly - so remember, when Bush loses, it's cuz Highly Important Campaigning Materials were pilfered by a rock hurling anarchist - NOT because he's a global joke.

[edit on 2-10-2004 by bushblows]

I read that today in the paper. The Republican party know that Bush is going to screw things up in these debates so they have to come up with some other tactics to make the Democrats look bad.
BTW, their trying to blame the Democrats for the "break in" , if the TRUTH was told,.............. they did it theirselves,........... if it really happened,

Nanna, the next few days will be full of terror alerts, threats etc.
you're going to see many accusations. This is just one with many more to come.
I dont even think there'll be any further debates. Bush will find a way to get out of these. The ear piece didnt help him at all.

then at the end of the debate they stood together and you could see the height difference reminds me of those old male actors who stood on a box to be taller than the female costars, in can only get funnier, I mean better,

[edit on 1/10/2004 by Sauron]

If I remember Sauron 1. All Hanoi John your war zero candidate too stupid to realize that it's Colin Powell not Kalin but who is worried about how our candidates speak right saur? 2. All Kerry had was the same YADDA YADDA YADDA 3. Kerry to voters looked arrogent geez I wonder why? 4. Leherer was seen by several people to have winked at Kerry after debates a sign that he(Leherer) another worthless libnut news anchor was Kerry and DNC infiltrated. 5. Kerry again bought up Nam when is it going to sink into his thick skull that we don't elect our presidents on their war background of course it does matter but Kerry made Nam the centerpiece for his campaign.6. Kerry gave USA no reason to vote for him so yes in style he did win the debate but sorry libby Bush won the debate on substance because that's what America the country you and the rest of you radicals hate yet dont mind abusing your rights to support terrorism aka anti war jerk fests. 7. Kerry also kept up with these retarded looks and movements when President Bush who is your prez sauc and still will be for 4 more years bought up his countless flop flips.8. Kerry,Clintern ,Chappequiddick Ted Neanderthol Kennedy the drunkard who should be in jail for murder, Hitlery Clintern, Nancy Pukosi Forrest Goron all saw the same intelligence that Bush did but according to you libiots ONLY BUSH IS THE LIAR why? Because typical left winger you never want to hold your good for nothing party accountable you always want to shift blame on Republicans well sorry libby its not going to work9. Since you rejected degenerates want to continue to lie blame and yak about Nixon Reagan and Daddy Bush we will continue to hold Clintern who gave USA the shaft for 8 years like one termer Jimmah Senile Peanut Cotta to the flames 10. Live with it Bush is your president for the next four years then its President Rudy! Oh and sau yes we have plenty of workers watching for election corruption because we know how you Saddamocrats are cant get elected the right way have to pull corruption to get in lol it must be sooo depressing to be a DemoKKKRAT!

[edit on 2-10-2004 by stifferthanacorpsekerry]

Wow,

1. You shouldn't be critical of people's spelling on these boards or anywhere else on line, read a faq or something.

2. Kerry made sense and knew what he was talking about, Bush couldn't put two words together that made any sense to me. I had to keep wondering what question he was answering.
Same Yadda Yadda would be Bush repeating over and over that Kerry changed his mind, Kerry changed his mind, Kerry changed his mind . . . Talk about the same Yadda Yadda. . .

3. Kerry didn't seem arrogent to me or any of the many people I talked to the next day, and they are voters so where are you getting this opinion from?

4. Leherer is one of the most respected conservative political reporters in the whole country. He was completely impartial and fair throughout the entire debate. I haven't heard anything about winking, and even if he did, it doesn't mean anything. Sounds like sour grapes since our president had nothing relevant or intelligent to say on some very serious subjects.

5. Kerry brought it up one time, when Bush was talking about what our soldiers are facing in Iraq. I think it was highly appropriate since Bush spent his tour of duty blowing off his Guard drills, doing coke and working on failed political campaigns while Kerry was holding a rifle in-country getting shot at by bad guys.

6. If you think that Bush showed any substance during the debate please post it here in short concise sentances. You can't because the only things he talked about was Kerry changes his mind and he "Loved her as hard as he could" when talking about Missy, one of the Iraq war widows.

7. That guy flashing retarding looks and vapid facial expressions was actually President Bush, not Kerry. Bush is the short one with sandy brown/gray hair.

8. Kerry stated very clearly, more than once, just in case you missed it, that he did see the same intelligence data, and he voted to give President Bush power to effectively deal with the situation. Unfortunately President Bush F**ked it up very badly and that was the point Kerry was making. Bush is still saying everything is fine in Iraq, which is in direct opposition to what is being said by Colin Powell (Sec State), The Pentagon, the CIA and the UN. And, Bush is preventing the clamp down via military action in the insurgent controlled areas until after the election so the casualties don't impact his election prospects. He is doing this even though by waiting, more precious American soldiers will die since the insurgents can dig in and prepare for the assaults. Great freaking leader he is.

9. I don't have any idea what you are talking about for comment #9, so I can't come up with a response.

10. PLEASE, don't talk about election process issues. Bush lost the popular vote in 2000 by 500,000 votes, but won the White House by 500 votes in Florida where there were numerous "inconsistencies" with the voting process.

BTW, I am a Republican. I don't know what party Bush is representing.

p.s. It became obvious to me after the debate that some villiage in Texas has been deprived of its idiot.

Oh my imagination goes wild sometimes!

Bush didn't do as well as he could have. Reason being? He doesn't see any real value in debating. Remind you, that it was Kerry's team that wanted the debates.

Bush is going to be re-elected, even if he loses the next two debates. He couldn't care less about standing on stage, with his opponent, making an argument. Debates don't have one thing to do with national policy.

Then honestly, why even have an election? Since King George II merely graces us mere mortals with his presence, we should feel humbled and glad hearted that he chose to ALLOW the republic to view him in all of his regal glory.

That's fascism.

I have to respectfully disagree with you on a couple of points IntelEarthling. First, the presidential debates are a vital part of the election process. It is the only time you can compare and judge the candidates under the same light and see what stuff they are made of. You are right, the debates have nothing to do with making policy, they are a means to compare and contrast candidates so the voting public can make a more informed opinion. I also disagree that the debates will not matter in the elections for the previously stated reasons. Bush did as well has he could, that IS the whole problem. He can't think on his feet, process information and ideas and then synthesize a coherent and effective response. He is spoon fed what to say, and what to think about everything. This should scare the hell out of all of us. Why do you think that his handlers don't let him answer questions he isn't prepared for? As illustrated in one of the rare press conferences where reporters were allowed to ask questions (rare indeed); he said after hemming and hawing for 10 seconds "I wish you would have submitted that question in advance so I could have an answer ready". This is unbelievable!!! It is also illustrated in how the Bush staff treats reporters. If you ask "unfriendly questions" they move you to the back of the room or revoke your press pass. It is also demonstrated by the fact that all of the people at Bush's campaign stops are cherry picked? Why? So they don't ask any questions of President Bush in public!

It actually wasn't Bush's podium that was three inches higher than John Kerry's, it was that Republican owned Fox News that was dropping the picture of John Kerry down lower than Bush's , There's a reason for that, my father and I was talking about that today, some news media(s), like "Fox News" for instants will pull a trick like that, to make "their man" look as the "bigger & better" canadate, and thats what they were trying to relay to everyone that was watching the debate that night, my father was
, because of the Fox News trying to pull that stunt. Father use to work for a newspaper when I was a child, so he knows all those little tricks that the media will try to pull.
.

amazing, you and your father should probably stick to something that you know about like yellow journalism..they are of a different height as they roughly want the head the same distance from the top of the screen they will have to be displayed differently..do you by any chance have a food tester? How would they possibly make their man look bigger & better than the guy who stood next to hijm several timesreally you should think about a food tester.

actually yet again you are on the wrong side of history as most accounts of dead voters and more votes then possible voters that I have seen are connected to democratsie JFK and other historical figures. Not only that but just look at most of what you post.

And here is a link from that crappy site that you link www.johnkerry.com... wow a front organization for J Kerry produces a video that you just think is neat what a surprise.

Bush Blows Debate: Talks to Rove in Earpiece!
9 comment(s).
During the Presidential Debate Bush made what may be his most costly error- he exposed that hes using an earpiece to help him answer debate questions. In the middle of an answer bush said, "now let me finish" as if someone was interrupting him - yet nobody did - he was talking to the person in his earpiece.

Listen to the mp3 yourself- or watch the video at c-span

Funny I saw this same drivel in another post here on ATS and someone correctly replied that the moderator was moving on and the comment from bush was to him..I thought to myself when I saw that post that even the hardcore Kool-Aid drinkers wouldnt be stupid enough to post this more than once.guess I was wrong.

Why? Are you going to call one in? It is a shame that you would make light of such a serious subject as our nations security.

btw, the debate offer is still open.

, since you attack ME directly, and use my posts as your signature, I cant help but think out of all the posters here, I hold a special place in your heart. How cute. I am still a free person and as such I will post whatever I want and say what I feel to be the truth.
You can do the same, but lay off the personal attacks. hmmm... brings back memories...seems like you and I have been down this path before.
Im not going away, so you best find someone else to critizise and quote and laugh at. K???

The only person attacking here is you. You state that the President of the United States of America will manufacture terrorist warnings because he 'lost" the debate last Thursday. A very serious charge.

You offer no evidence to back up this claim. You call me a lousy American for questioning the validity of your arguement.

I have never, repeat never, stated that you do not have a right to your opinion. But, when you take a statement such as this, and remove it from the realm of opinion and pass it off as truth, you have the responsibility to back up your claims.

I have not and do not question your patriotism, as you did mine. In fact I am glad that you at least have an interest in the political process, when so many seem to not care.

I am sorry if it seems to you that I have singled you out. If you read my prior posts, you will find that I ask many people to "deny ignorance" on many subjects.

By that same token, remember that I too have the right to say what I feel. I hope that when you think "free speech" you do not define it as only being for people who agree with your point of view.

If my using a statement you made in my signature bothers you, let me know and I will remove it. Unfortunatly there are many out ther that will do.

As to the topic of this thread, I do not believe the President will use the terror alerts for political gain, and I would say this also if Clinton, Gore or Kerry were President. And anyone who says such a thing should expect a response from me asking them to back up ther claim.

If it makes you feel better to qustion my patriotism or to "tell the ringmaster to shove it up his arse", feel free. But I too will continue to post to any thread I want, regardless of the people who posted before me.

What really got me is George Bush is willing to sit down with the help of other countries and have "talks" with N. Korea, knowing for a FACT that they were able to make WMDs ( and did make WMDs ), BUT,
He wasn't willing to do the same with Saddam,...... Nope, Bush was "sure" of it that Saddam had WMDs and threatening the US and others with them,... so he ordered an attack on Iraq,......... we killed and maimed thousands of civilians, killed Saddams evil sons, captured Saddam,....... but I'll be danged if we weren't able to find the supposive WMDs that Bush and Cheney swore that Saddam had, they did not order troops to secure the Nuke station in Iraq, but the DID order the troops to secure the OIL WELLS.

So much for Bush's " WAR ON TERROR", and the Republicans don't understand where the rest of us came up with the knowledge the Bush and his Administration are nothing but Liars and Murderers.

Well, geeee wizzzzzzzzz,...... I wonder why they think the rest of us should be as stupid and bind to whats been going on,............. War On Terror my a$$, they need to get real.

dgtempe, you know thats true, Bush already showed the world just how idiotic and corrupted he and his Administration really are in this "first debate", and you know they don't want Bush to screw-up even more, so we all know they'll find away to get out of the other debates.

Anyone that watched the first debate could tell WHO the President was that night,.......... it sure wasn't George Bush
.

I was watching the debate again ( I taped it), there was "one" time there when Bush turned his head just right, to where a person could see a small dark spot just inside his ear, I re-ran that part like three times in very slow motion just to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing,..... yep...... it looked like an ear piece .
