I'm sorry but the AstroTurf Koch Brothers sponsored GOP affiliated political movement referred to as the Tea Party will hardly be interested in joining a movement which wants to end corporate political campaign contributions (which by the way means more taxes, more government...not less) among other things.

And the Grass Roots people sponsored movement will in no way be interested in officially partnering up with the Tea Party or any other political movement (left leaning ones included). They would probably offend 85% of the people in it! It would never pass the general assembly. Ever.

The Tea Party represents the kind of corporate influence that the Occupy movement is protesting!

One movement wants a completely free market with nearly zero government and the other wants more regulation of the market and higher taxes on the rich! They are like oil and water.

However, I do like the idea of becoming less polarized. And in my opinion OWS already encapsulates that ideal. OWS is made up of left, right, young, old, dumb, smart, socialist, capitalist, and everything in between. And I assure you, Tea Party members are already a part of the movement. So ya, if the "real" Tea Party members want to join forces with OWS all they have to do is show up and participate. So maybe you're right! Lets hope so.

Cain loses and The Federal Reserve is effectively stripped of private control and is nationalized allow Cain to win and the Fed remains private!

One group asks for less government.

The other asks for more.

It's not all about social programs, so I think there's room for some kind of concerted effort. No one has a problem with ditching bailouts and actually making corporate America share the burden along with some kind of true accountability from the gov.

I think both groups would basically agree that our rights are being trampled. Mebbe I'm too naive.

Have you been paying attention? "making corporate America share the burden"? Have you seen how the Tea Party has effected the senate? Their message is "No taxes no matter what!" And unless something huge changes in their leadership don't expect that message to change anytime soon. The Tea Party answers to big business.

The Tea Party is an example of a lesson learned..."Don't let politics or money steal your movement." This is the very reason that OWS refuses to affiliate. Because they saw what happened.

Thanks Tea Party for showing us what NOT to do.

Our respect is for the Constitution and no where does it say or even imply we are Anti Constitution. Our support and everlasting allegiance to the doc is solid, firm and will not ever waiver. Stop with this divisive rhetoric.

Fact is the TP is now a wholly, owned, controlled and financed political arm of Wall Street, The Federal Reserve and only do what they say. They were hijacked and yet no one can see it.

Then why is OWS calling for a direct democracy in place of our Republic?

Because in the end the UN will masquerade as the savior of humanity and to them the US constitution is obsolete. They will come and make war with those of us who are still around, that were not stupid enough to follow OWS into the lions den. Of course they will probably appoint the OWS as UN officers and then all hell will break loose.

What we are wanting and let me clarify this once and for all.

We want the democratic process that involves the open and public debate of all grievances to be decided by the people directly without interference from outside entities and do not wish to nor are actively seeking to replace the Governmental structure but to return the Congress back to being the Citizen Legislators that the doc originally intended for and to delete and end the practice of the Career Congressperson by imposing term limits upon Congress and The Supreme Court. Being a member of Congress should not be a lifetime post.

Our nation will still be the Republic which refers to Nation we all know and love but to continue the democratic process that is elections, open debate, majority rule. Democratic rule is The People!

Nationalization of The Federal Reserve is what we want above all else as this restores the rule of the nation and the rule of law and does not have us time and time again answering to foreign entities as if you look at the following site :

land.netonecom.net...

This shows the private control of the Fed which as of now, the Fed is 70% controlled by foreign interests and entities!

Federal Reserve Ownership

Rothschild Bank of London
Rothschild Bank of Berlin
Warburg Bank of Hamburg
Warburg Bank of Amsterdam
Lazard Brothers of Paris
Israel Moses Seif Banks of Italy
Chase Manhattan Bank of New York
Goldman, Sachs of New York
Lehman Brothers of New York
Kuhn Loeb Bank of New York

and others.

Would you mind telling me how corporate campaign finance translates into higher taxes? Is this part of the liberal fascination with "corporate welfare and corporate personhood"? And next, why does OWS allow funding from Soros but complains about the Koch bros supporting the Tea Party?

OWS is not the spontaneous little grass roots movement it purports to be. Not by a longshot. Organized by Adbusters and Ruckus Society, funded by Soros through Tides, supported by Obama and Pelosi. Please, what kind of fools do you take us for?

Yeah well the FED was a scam to begin with.

I certainly don't want to nationalize it. No thanks.

You haven't read the demands then. They expressly call for a Direct Democracy voting in a General Assembly.
Also, you are calling to nationalize the Federal Reserve instead of abolishing it. What you seem to want is to switch the private central bank for a govt central bank instead of eliminating the central banking system. What is to stop the crooks in govt from using the system to steal from the public treasury? With someone like Barney Frank overseeing it, it's bound to be a disaster. There was no strong central bank in the years just prior to the creation of the Fed, just national banks. Presumably the purpose of the Fed was to prevent a run on the banks creating a panic(you know like bunches of people walking into a given bank and demanding to close it and withdraw all their funds at once like the OWS people did) but some say that the Fed created the crisis and the Depression.
Currently, the Fed combines private and govt control.

So you disagreed with the way Nancy Pelosi handled the health care issue by ignoring the public and telling us we all just had to pass the bill before we could see what is inside it?

Majority rule, So then you are calling for direct democracy. Then it would no longer be the Republic we love...

Yes, I agree we do not want the sacking of our public treasury by all the globalist bankers, but the govt allowed the baillout, so what good does it do to exchange a the current public/private entity for a Socialized Central bank? With someone like Obama in office, they will just still print money, but they won't have to pay the usury.

We only have one kind of democracy and that is Our Democracy which encompasses all forms that make up Our Democracy is what most have seem to forgotten about. It's about the people above all as it is the people is who's direct livelyhood is affected. That is just fact.

It is one that puts people above corporations, people above private owned elements of any key element of our Governmental Infrastructure and Overall Architecture!

One that no one is turned away because they couldn't afford to outdo the corporate lobbyist, one that affords every American a decent and fair wage with acceptable work conditions, one where executives at these laws firms that nearly wiped us out are still sitting pretty free as a bird. Clip the wings, hold them responsible. It is time that some of these rejects pay for what they did to our nation. Criminals! lol!

We are and have thus far remained peaceful but we hope it does not go there as the current order I assure you is to remain civil and peaceful maintain course until next request.

We have a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy, but we have democractic elections. You are calling for the reinstatement of that which we never had, which is a direct democracy. I am assuming you want it not just for Presidential and Congressional elections but for referendems on actual legislation as well.
