So you're saying we should be more like China?

I can't say I agree with that but whatever.

So the Constitution is a joke since we don't have a democracy remember it is the current template for which the term democracy roots from, here in The USA!? Are you kidding me? We are the living breathing beacon of democracy and as far as I know that we still are a democracy!

No. Fight back to retake what is all ours and return this nation back to the producing powerhouse it once was. New opportunities are opening up soon.

Do you think the derivative market players should be held accountable for placing bets using huge sums of money that they either did not have themself of was someone else's?

OK lets get rid of the labor unions and then those of us who want to work can all get back to work.

Let's go.

And we are not a democracy by the way.

Nationalization of The Federal Reserve is what we want above all else as this restores the rule of the nation and the rule of law and does not have us time and time again answering to foreign entities as if you look at the following site :

t’s important that my liberal friends understand that the government is complicit in this fraud, because they directly benefit from it. The banking cartel benefits because it allows them to charge interest payments at rates they set on money they create out of thin air. In other words to profit without work. But the government benefits because the Federal Reserve offers them limitless credit to fund their unpopular projects without directly taxing the people. The result is inflation, which is an invisible tax that attacks the poor worst of all. So, for example, we experience the cost of war as a recession instead of a war tax, which obfuscates the root cause of poverty and causes people to blame the businesses which are forced to raise their prices instead of the monetary policy that is eroding our wages. The recession is a war tax

f you nationalize the Federal Reserve without abolishing fiat money it resolves the government’s interest payment problem, but it doesn’t resolve the inflation problem which disproportionately hurts the poor because the wealthy don’t store their wealth in dollars. That’s what Wall Street is. That’s why Wall Street is what it is. Because the wealthy put their wealth in commodities to protect themselves from inflation. Fiat money leads to hyper inflation regardless of who has their hand on the printing press. Nationalizing the Federal Reserve would only remove whatever checks still exist on the creation of money.

Delete the Federal Reserve itself and create a whole new bank to control the money. Nationalization keeps it out of foreign hands or corporate interest!

When Gov't are under the constraints they must do what they must do in order to help us, even if that is being in bed with the enemy. Gov't like it or not is not the problem. Why is everyone trying to flip it back on Gov't? When Wall Street and The Federal Reserve finance all the campaigns guess what? The pols answer to them. This is the need to end corporate dollars from being able to finance campaigns. Banks, insurance firms, religions, big pharma, defense contractors/manufactueres, investment firms, petrochemical companies should not be allowed to finance or participate in the financing of a campaign. This effectively and shuts down cold the practice of buying a vote!

If I got your wife and kids tied up with a 4 man team with sniper rifles and riot gear and tell you I'm going to kill your family one by one until you do what I want you to while showing you a vid of the business end of a AR-15 pointed at your kids head, what are you going to do? You will do what I say in order to make it stop! This is how they are playing high stakes international leverage! They have already did the aforementioned and a helluva lot worse.

OK, no common ground or unity on ATS. I'm right your wrong (nothing changes)!

They win. Good luck to us all.

Your right the mental trenches have been built and there is no getting out of them, they will just deepen over time until people are fighting each other rather than the banks or the government.

Thanks for the thread. I'd started one like this myself and quickly discovered the idea that the two sides could work together had probably been very naive on my part.

The problem of course is that EACH side of political thinking represents pretty close to 50% of the Nation's politically active and voting population.

So....The Tea Party finds a few things about the OWS that it hates and will NOT work with them on anything.

OWS has a few things about the Tea Party it finds absolutely objectionable and will NOT work with them on anything.

Together, with the %'s as they are, the two attitudes insure our nation is doomed and nothing can stop that anymore. Both sides will be able to stand on their little square of the Titanic's deck and scream about how they are independent and never had to compromise......as we all go down together.

It's just absolutely pathetic, isn't it?

The tea party will never associate with those who do not have respect for the constitution, they don't want the violent people, the sloppiness, the disregard for the law, the sense of entitlement, the hatred towards cops and those who serve this country. It would only hurt their cause.

If you wanted to join the tea party, you could have...just saying.

Sorry, that tea was spoiled by vinegar. There was an early incarnation that had some level headedness.
But they too, turned into whiners and screamers, without tents.

Since both sides are against the corrupt, bought & paid for Government. Lets try this approach;

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Will that work anyone??

The phrase the enemy of my enemy is my friend is a proverb that advances the concept that someone who is the enemy of your enemy is therefore your friend. It further means that because two parties have a common enemy, one can use the other to advance their goals.

Divide & Conquer. They win every time!

This is depressing. People really are this attached to their political parties that they would rather just fight each other than take any action against who is really the enemy.

It's like two people on a sinking ship, even though they can fit in the life raft and live, they just keep fighting over it and both end up drowning.

The responses on this thread have really ruined my day.

I couldn't've said it better myself. People with political blinders should not be involved in political discourse and they clearly cannot see nor understand the entire dynamic and paradigm that is politics!

This is so true.I think the movement needs to recognise this and appeal to conseratives. We need to highlight that the movement represents consensus based politics and decision making.Nothing will happen unless there is general agreement.

I am a self proclaimed Tea Party person who holds to the ideals of American exceptionalism, free enterprise, and the dictates of the United Sates Constitution, and I will tell you this.

I will never bee seen uniting with communists.

I will never associate with democrat socialists, nor liberals.

I will never be seen in alliance with dope induced street gang thugs who disrespect America, the police, and the law as they do.

The Party Patriots don't make violence. They don't attack the police. They don't leave their trash on public property, and they don't call for the violent overthrow of the best nation in the world in terms of liberty and the ability to succeed.

So the answer is no, we will not unite with them, ever.
