Is there a way to opt out of seeing this, oh, ever-so-informative
little ribbon?
I tried the "hide" button but the stupid thing just keeps showing up every page I open.

Just click on HIDE. Last button on the right side of the ribbon.

But no, no opt out option

I hit hide but it comes right back everytime the page is refreshed. I'm going to turn on my pop up blocker I guess.

I want to find a way to keep it open regardless of page. It's very handy to just click, messages > replies to see who's posting on your threads, which friends are posting and all kinds of other good stuff.

Sorry it pisses you off tho buddy
I know how much that sucks.

Oh the iPad it's annoying. It blocks out a headline and I either have to hide it or wait for it to close, which is about 10 seconds.

I like it, I just wish it would stay on the bottom of the page when I scroll down.

Pred...

That won't stop it.

It disappears after a few seconds anyway.

Yeah it can be a bit annoying this time of the week with the ATS live thing but I think it's a small inconvenience to deal with on a free website...

I love it. Its small and barely noticeable, until you need it.

Pop up blocker does-not-work, blast! now that I know there is nothing I can do about it it just bothers me worse.

Pop up blockers are for advertisements (thus the reason it does not work) and those are not allowed to be used here

I find the ribbon informative and useful.
It disappears in a few seconds anyway no big deal.

You can disable Java Script. I think that'll stop it. There's even browser specific add-ons that will do it on a per-site basis for you. Sorry I didn't think of that earlier.

You're welcome

That ribbon is really annoying! If it remembered that I hid it and it stayed hidden I'd be ok with it.

It's not exactly a "feature" from my perspective.
