I don't really find it unusual or unexpected that a Supreme court appointed by the Government interprets a law in favor of the current President..

But it does boil down to interpretation obviously.

Well, since this wasn't a supreme court decision that I'm referencing, and the judges weren't appointed by ANY Presidential adminstration - what was your point again?

If I'm not mistaken - the Governer appoints the judges for the State court of appeals, and since Indiana has been a "red" state for 40 years this really doesn't help your argument much does it?
