Avatars?

When do our avatars become active so we can see them when we post - I just uploaded mine?

If you just uploaded it, re-click on the image and copy where it says " Use as ATS Avatar"

Then come off of your media profile and back onto ATS, click on tools (at the top of the scren), scroll down to where it says "Avatar URL" click on submit, and your avatar is now set.

EDIT: I assume this is what you want as an avatar?

Have you updated your account settings (hit the TOOLS)^^ above.. and put the url of your avatar image in the avatar address box?

I'm not very good at fixing avatars admittedly but I'll try re-size it if you want.

Btw, it might look a bit better if you change the background image as well. Just underneath where you place your avatar is where you need to go to do this.

No, you don't need to do anything like that.

Anyway, I re-sized it for you now.

ATS has a set limit for what you can use for an avatar now...

Avatars

Maximum pixel dimensions: 170 pixels wide by 240 pixels high.

Maximum file size: Remains 75k

Because the layout parameters for page structure is different than the old per-2010 format, overly-tall avatars can make the thread-view a very-tall page.

Your avatar is what is wrong. you have a picture uploaded in your background, but no avatar. You will need to use the following as your avatar (it is a clear .gif file that will stretch out your avatar space and show your full background).

I have the same problem my avatar wont show in the forums, it is there when you view my profile however!
