Since you ask experiences, Ill share my story.

Pretty simple for me. I got the short form, answered the qurstions and put it in the mail.

I went to my doctor s couple weeks ago. He, like me, mistrusts the Nazi type police state BigGov we now find ourseles in. He asked me if I sent my form in. He then related he sent his in but did not answer the question on race, as he felt it was intrusive. He had a visit from a census guy and told him he wouldn't answer that one question. He was threatened but the guy left. When I left the office he said, "Well I may be in jail soon -ha ha" I told him yeah, we may all be there soon.

Welcome to the New World Order, folks!

I have a picture of Alex Jones and a really big plastic cup to yell through. I'm not even gonna open the door or engage them in conversation, just yell the number of people in the house until they leave.

That guy would have been carried off my property as soon as he tried to force his way in my door... These idiots have no right to trespass on private property no one can trespass without a proper warrant period. The federal government does not supercede local government and police.

Further the census is a private corporation just like the US they are not part of the Republic and you have no obligation to answer anything period! THERE HASN'T BEEN A LAWFUL CENSUS SINCE 1935!

I am amazed you agreed to answer any questions after what he did and then tried to be nice.

That's the best post I've read in a while.... quite dazzling I'd say!

It wouldn't surprise me you've had a cup of tea with men in black....

Stand up and be counted that’s what I say… just do it in a fashion that works for you and not for them.

Wow.

It's amazing how a census can bring out the child in everyone.

What about butterflies and balloons?

You absolutely positively sure about that? Please cite your source for this claim you have made
Im very curious as to where you got this info from.

What if the following year, they decide to come in your house, hogtie you, raid your porn collection, touch your privates, steal your daddy's gold watch, and take a dump without flushing?

Then what? Will that be enough for you?

Everyone has their own threshhold I understand...but mine is a "little" lower than that. NOW do you get it????????

But, its better than what happened to this guy, an honest census taker.

"It was a bizarre and gruesome discovery in a remote section of eastern Kentucky: Bill Sparkman, a 51-year-old teacher and part-time worker for the United States Census, was found two weeks ago hanging from a tree with the word "Fed" scrawled on his chest in felt tip pen."

www.cbsnews.com...

^^^
I'm sure there had to be a thread on that one for sure. Crazy country we got here. People do love their privacy.

You know if I recall correctly that incident ended up being a bizarre suicide.... Not a homicide as was originally thought.

That said, I have to say that while yes census takers can be annoying, it seems like the OP greeted this man with hostility from the very beginning. Which no doubt got this guys feathers ruffled, and all hell broke loose from their.

In my humble opinion both were out of line. Really, the adult thing to do would be to check his ID and verify if he really is with the Census Bureau by getting in touch with his local chapter.

If he was then he should cooperate ( Since you really only have to answer SOME of the questions of the form... which are not privacy invading at all IMO)

If he was not working for the Census Bureau, then the cops should have been called anyway.

I am guessing that he DOES work that he WAS a census taker if it turns out the cops could not hold him. I am willing to bet the police checked to make sure he was...

In which case I think what the OP needs to do is report this guy to his local chapter.

As for those of you who have been talking big saying the would have pulled a gun or beat him up.... Give me a break. Unless you want to go to jail on top of having to give the census taker your info.... it is not worth it..... Taking the law into your own hands, pulling a gun on some one, is just stupid.

An after though, the OP says he sent the form in 3 weeks ago? He sent it in after the deadline! The last day was April 16th. The Census Bureau has gone on record publicly saying that forms sent in after the dead line may not get put on their files in time and you will likely get a census taker knocking on your door.

OP, with all due respect it is your own fault the guy showed up at all....

Truth be told I like to consider myself, to be my own highest authority. I don’t see the Census Workers or Police Officers, or Judges or Politicians as being a higher level of authority than I am. I see them as human beings just like I am.

When at all possible, I strive to get them to recognize my authority over myself, and to submit to my authority over myself.

I am not angry at them because they have taken jobs with the Corporate Government, and I am not angry at them because they haven’t been given full or complete information to govern themselves by and form their perspectives.

I would be angry with myself if I didn’t share with them, how I govern myself and the information I use to form my perspectives.

I am not afraid of them, because I see no greater authority in them, than I see in myself. I am not arrogant or belligerent to them either, or defiant, because ultimately I don’t have to defy them, if through communication, I can convince them that my own actions are technically and morally appropriate for me.

We all put our pants or skirts on, one leg at a time, so there really is no reason to fear these people, since most of them are in fact unwitting pawns of a system they don’t completely understand themselves.

The Census Workers and Supervisors I have encountered not only understood why I wouldn’t fill out the census or allow them to fill it out for me, after I explained my reasoning, but were in fact genuinely grateful that I explained all of this to them, and to a certain extent felt a certain amount of guilt and shame that they had been duped into carrying out this function, without being fully explained too, what the function actually is they are carrying out.

In short, there really is no reason to be afraid of other people regardless of the badge or uniform they wear, or where they imagine their authority emanates from, because in reality when you take those props away, they are just people too.

Treat them like people, talk to them like people, explain yourself like you would too your best friend, and they just might turn out to be one of your best friends too!

Thanks my friend.

But of course, you may. That's what ATS is here for.

I really enjoy speaking and sharing with others, and if they learn something through me, I consider that quite an honor. I never mind taking the time to engage someone in intelligent and informative conversation.

The Government isn't the only entity that runs reeducation camps, Proto does too!

I always enjoy speaking with them, as I am someone who always has lots of interesting things to talk about................

.............I smile, they smile, then they usually ask me how they can learn more about these things, and thank me, put away their clip boards, and go on their merry way!

I have really been enjoying the Census Takers so far! They have really been enjoying me.

ProTrav, you are a piece of work! I love your style. I want you on my side when I face TPTB.

I remember a guy I once worked for who used to handle telemarketers by telling them he was really interested but had to put them on hold for just a bit. He left the on hold. He always said this hurt the telemarketer more than anything. Just take up their valuable time. Same way for BigGov census nazis.

Fair enough I agree and then I can shoot trespassers as soon as they cross my property line since I am not a citizen/employee/property of the federal municipal corporation known as the United States or any of its subdivisions thereof liike the commerce department. Whom would constitute a foreign entity seeking to invade my private land.

I do wish idiots would seek out some history before the shoot off their mouths... Sigh

Well, the guy was trespassing. The OP has a gated property with intercom system. The Census worker should have rang the intercom at the gate, instead the "census worker" illegally entered this man's property by scaling a wall or whatever(aka trespassed).
