I am asking for you to ask yourself a question.

Who am I. I am nobody correct. You only know me by my actual stances and my rhetoric.

Now, I have a very profound question for the people that back Obama. Do you know more about him or me? Honestly, do you think you know me better or do you know Obama better?

This question is for you Democrats and Republicans, you may not respond, but do you think I would give my life for my country and do you think that it matters?

I have stated many times that we have to go away from the two party system. I have said many times that if we do not know who we are voting for, we are voting on a party basis only. So let us imagine, the endisnighe runs on the Democrat or Republican ticket, would you vote for me on my stances. Would you vote for a guy that thinks that freedom above all else is the basis of our country.

Would you vote for the endisnighe, if he poked his head up and stated he was going to run for the Presidency of the US of A? Or maybe even just a guvneh? Based upon what you know of my stances?

Just a quick rundown of my stances.

Social-anything that you feel is your own damn business-is your own damn business.
Economic-Regulations that prefer the Mega Corps are destroyed.
Health Care-all contributions to a health care account are completely tax deductible.
War-we keep our damn country involved with protecting this damn country.
SS, Medicare, Welfare, etc. are not espunged, but future systems are not mandatory.
Immigration-amnesty allowed as long as future immigration is limited.
Monetary system-fiat system is destroyed for commodity based system.

How bout that, would you vote for something like that? Still wondering if I should run. It may not only be the wuk that runs this year. Of course, I am still wondering why so many are dropping this year. Anyone solve that conspiracy yet? Or at least come up with a theory?

#150 OP's, thanks ATS for the possibility to engender my attitude. Anyway, let us hope this is not the ending, only the beginning of a new reality!

Well before I vote for a candidate I have 3 rules.

1. Know the candidates platform, review his voting history and his history on past issues. NO FLIP-FLOPPING!
2. Check how trustworthy he/she is. Review his personal history and any promises he broke/followed through on.
3. Compare and contrast candidates and their stances on the issues, level of trustworthiness, and strength to stand-up to political enemies.

If you could pass my test then I would vote for you, I don't care what party you are or if you are just independent.

But with the information you have provided(very minimal amount) and considering that I do not know you personally or have any records of your promises then I could not answer your question.

Why not can I have a seat at the table to. I love freedom and Liberty. And also I know how to really piss off liberals for some reason. I get new foes everyday?

Just one question would you get rid of the stupid patriot act?

Patriot Act? What the frell is that?

Yes, the first thing I would have to do is go drink these bastards under the table. Oh wait, they do not drink. Yeah right.

Anyway, common sense and real life ideals.

ST, take it easy.

Subjective Truth, you always know just what to say to make me hostile.

Yes, you do enrage liberals and some of their misconceptions but you do not really bother me. When I first joined ATS your banter infuriated me, but now you don't bother me anymore. I guess I built a wall of tolerance to libertarians since joining. As you know I am a hard-core Progressive that believes strongly in civil liberties, on social issues I am a Libertarian. I don't understand why you dislike Progressives so much, it's quite irrational, we're not that much different from you.

Anyways as I stated above with your lack of adequate information I would not be able to give you a solid answer, BUT, if my judgement of you is correct while I respectfully disagree with your whole philosophy I would vote for you because I believe you are an honest person who would do right for our nation and stand by your word.

Sorry, you premised a bribery off the bat. Ain't going to happen. Time to destroy the ideals of bribes and payoffs in gubment. Time to elect people that you would normally dismiss, because those are the one you HAVE to elect if you want to change the system. Hope and change was already destroyed, are you going to fall for it again?

edit to change, okay, you changed your attitude. Remember, freedom is the only purpose of a politician. The ONLY thing for a politician is to ensure FREEDOM.

Oh come off it Misoir, you know my stances. As for my promises, I would stand in front of the cameras and state if I broke any campaign promise, the LEO's could come and arrest me for breaking my Constitutional Oath.

Yes, nowadays politicians think oaths are as common place as promises to dates. It is called honor and integrity. Something sorely missing in today's society. I understand your commitment to past record, but how are you going to rid the problems of lobbyists and corrupt officials if you want records of voting or the LAWYER prerequisite?

Well I hope I make you think that is all I ask for. I believe in helping people just not being forced to do it. And I should clarify that for you I think people that can not help themselves like the mentally insane or the elderly or young children should have a safety net from the government.

I also believe in unemployment benefits at a time like this. We need them to keep the country together. If they stop it will only make things worse and we need to weigh that.

But when it comes to freedom and liberty and the constitution I stand strong. Progressives dont that is why I am against the progressive way of thinking but in reality these are fences we put up TPTB have no fences.

And sorry OP for going off topic you still have my vote.

endisnighe running for president? hmmmm? A politician that tells exactly how he feels. Not to hurt your feelings bro but on Super Tuesday I sure as hell will vote for you and I mean it. Come Nov. though I doubt that tptb would let you on that ticket. As someone who frequently reads your posts I gotta say there is no way they would let you on the main ballot. Heck think about it, they keep throwing Biden in odd places trying to get him killed. But f**k that anyways, even if they take you out I will write your name in for the hell of it. Electoral college decides who wins anyways so it doesn't matter. Good luck dude, i'll be rooting for ya.

I know it was rude of me to throw a bribe in the first reply.
I retracted after some thought. You still got my vote either or, even if you put me in my place.

Either or, we need libertarian leadership and not the left/right paradigm that is currently in place. 2 sides, of the same coin.

EDIT: grammar burps.

No problem, it is not like I could actually run could I?

Actually, there are about 4 different seats available this fall that I could run in. From city council all the way to guvner.

One can only imagine if someone without preconceived notions ran for a position that large, huh?

Misoir, I think you and ST would get along as long as you guys talked about freedom of your social life. You are both Libertarians in that regard. As for the difference in economic controls, I think Misoir would like the effect that I would destroy Monopolies and ST would like that I would relax regs on small business.

The True left and right are not that far apart. Neither wants totalitarianism.

A true free enterprise system is actually kind of socialist actually ST. Damn socialists.

Oh, ST ST ST. Not all liberals believe that guns are bad. There is like two in the US.

Okay, that was a joke. I have several people in my family that are Dems that believe gun possession is sacrosanct.

If anyone here in Wisconsin stated that they wanted to regulate guns or voted for any gun regs, they would never hold office again. That is why I think I have a hell of a chance in town here for councilman. There is an idiot that voted on a gun ban where no one else did. Like a sheep for the slaughter. Anyway, she only got like 245 votes the last time. That means I just need to find one person not in my family and I would win.

Okay, that is a joke, kinda.
I am from a huge family.

Anyway folks, the endisnighe, unless you vote for the endisnighe

Thank God we can have guns. I just picked up the love of my life a Ruger sr-556 and I love her. Is it wrong to love a gun?

I love how some libs say guns kill people...

i always tell them...

ever see a gun grow a pair of legs, walk up to someone and kill them?

We need guns in a free society, so the government of that country cant walk all over its people like tyrants.

Hell no, I almost cried when I had to destroy my fathers M1 carbine.

I used it until I was about 15 or 16. I let my friend use it while he was driving and he gave me his 30-06. The carbine left a bullet in the chamber and injected the next cartridge. If the cartridge would have went another fraction of a mm, my friend would be dead right now.

Guns are sacrosanct in the US. Until people realize this, they will never ever get a job in WI politics. This woman in my town is SO out of touch with reality, a frelling dog could beat her for the position.
