Let's be fair, the Muslims aren't that much better. Muslims seem to like to kill as a logical extension of their religion. Shoot, they even kill each other frequently.

I respect what she said, and that is not flip flopping, for I respect that she stated what she believes in, instead of taking the easy way out. Now as to the statement she made, I may not agree with it, however, I do feel we ( christians ) are supposed to pray for Israel, and bless them. I do not know for certain, what that entails, and do not feel we should harm other's in this blessing of them. Does that make sense?

As far as myself, I feel we (christians) get along with the jewish people because we are tasked with loving them, regardless of what they have done in the past, and that should be our attitude with all other's, no matter what their religon, or past history, for to do any less, would not be following what we believe our lord (Jesus) has taught us to do. Is it how we always behave, no, of course not, for we are human, and sinner's from birth, as we believe all are, but, this would be the perfect model for us, if we were able to achieve it.

No, I'm afraid I do not know Rep. Bachmann personally, although I'm guessing she's a decent person. as to what she said, I merely said, "I respect it" not I agree wholeheartedly with it.

There is a lot of false pretense when it comes to what the Christian belief system entails. I'm just going to go through the behavioral stuff.

As a Christian, I am obligated to love all mankind unconditionally. I love you man, without condition, and that is no joke. I love all who have wronged me and pray that they may one day change their ways. We are obligated to share with each other. In fact it states clear as day we are to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and shelter the homeless. We are not allowed to hate anyone for anything. Material possessions and money are to hold no sway whatsoever (This one is difficult to say the least).

Tell me, how many Christians do you know that actually embody these things? That should tell you how Christian Christians actually are.

I pray for Israel to change their ways, and I do not wish them death, but as many of you have seen I don't like how they conduct business.

Exactly, I will never understand how a human can claim to "know the mind of god". I usually want to ask, "oh, when did you last have such an in depth conversation with god that you know exactly what god would or would not do?" Only someone who is "pretending" to know the mind of another person or entity.

Yeah, and look at how many of those poor innocent children are routinely abused by so many members of religious orders. I'm not singling out any particular brand of religion either, they are all at it, Christian, Muslim and Jew equally.
