Air passengers who refuse a full body scan to be barred from their flights

www.dailymail.co.uk

Air passengers who refuse to submit to a full body scan at Heathrow and Manchester airports will be barred from taking their flights from today.

The two airports started operating advanced imaging technology (AIT) scanners from noon. Birmingham airport will follow suit later this month ahead of a national rollout.

The move - strongly criticised by civil liberties campaigners who say the scanners are an invasion of privacy - follows the attempted Detroit bomb attack on Christmas Day

London from today has started full body scanners and today they showed on BBC how passengers have been put through these scanners.

We already know that the images from these scanners can be stored and sent elsewhere. Also when we invert the images we have a nude picture of the person.

I think from the safety standpoint it is necessary to have these sacnners, but from a personal privacy point of view, I am fine so long as no one know who I am

How many days do you think it would take for them to rethink this decision if everyone just stopped flying for a while?

The power is with the people they just have to learn how to use it.

I dont think the people really have a choice, because air travel has become so common these days.

And the airlines have a "right" to enforce any rules that the govt comes up with, to ensure passenger safety, so what I think will happen is that airline companies would also "cooperate" with the govt to have these full body scanners.

Yes may be a passenger union may raise the issue, but I doubt if they will ever win in a court.

What will it take to wake up the majority?
This only encourages those bastards to impose further human rights violations, that will no doubt be following.

The goyim are sleeping, and are affraid.
How can we make the people realize their power?

They have a choice. They just have to decide what is important and determine the priorities in their lives.

I feel sorry for anyone that feels that their freedom is worth the price of a plane ticket or a few saved hours.

I want to be safe when I fly, and I seem to be more and more lately, so I guess I will have to put up with the crap.

Not sure what else they can throw at us after body scans. I suppose the naked scans could be abused it seems to happen with anything and everything these days. If there is a will there is a way.

Seems if the security at air ports were doing their jobs it wouldn't be necessary. Get out the dogs too. I see them on the trains to Boston once and awhile how about using them at airports out in the public areas.

Wish me luck flying in a week, not leaving the country but still expect the once over.

Want to head to London this year too.. do I have to diet so I don't have to worry about my scans on the internet.

People always have a choice remember that, what doesn't have a choice is the government and the corporatist profiting entities behind the scanners.

This is plain and simple pornography, sexual predators hiding in another location making sick jokes while satisfying their deviating desires, any person watching children passing through this scanners are nothing but pedophiles.

This just the fact that people needs to be aware off and fight against.

This goes beyond privacy issues, this the issue of government mandatory pornography.

Give it another couple of years and a couple more false flag attempts and then they'll lock us up in our homes from 6pm till 8am to protect us from the terrorists of course.
These things are just another threat to humans, untested devices that couldn't stop a dedicated terrorist, next thing you know they'll be blowing themselves up in the airport concourses therefore bypssing the scanners unless they install them in the doorways, and then the terrorists will be driving suicide vehicles around.

Imagine the long list of people applying for the jobs. I can only imagine the shoddy job they will do looking into the pasts of the applicants.
I can hear it now only woman will look at the womans scans and only men at the mens scans.. yeah right.

Like I said anybody that enjoy a job of looking at naked bodies of men and women and perhaps children all day long, are sick and have sexual problems, plain and simple, be men or women.

Still the issue of this sick sexual predators been in an undisclosed location should raise red flags to any decent persons mind that something is very sick and deprived behind the whole naked scan thing.

What won't we allow them to do to us. I guess we deserve exactly what we get. No wonder they have such disdain for us.

Maybe we are just a bunch of useless eaters that need to be either controlled or destroyed. What a sorry lot we are.

One way around it is to take a ferry to Europe and use any of the international airports there if going abroad.. you'll save a few quid too.

The only problem with that is a slightly extended travel time.

By coach to Frankfurt from London Victoria is 75 Euros and takes 15 hours. You can go anywhere from Farnkfurt airport, or Paris etc, etc.

There are ways around it. Are you prepared to go the extra mile?

100 years ago and getting places was by horse, ship or train.

I think I'll write "Hi pervert" across my butt just for grins. Make my breasts smiley faces.

If they get to get their jollies I can have mine too.

Sure but that sucks for the rest of the world that wants to go to Europe. Eventually all the airports, at least the major ones, are going to follow suit..

How much more expnsive would it be to travel to Ireland, Wales, or France and fly from there? Maybe that is a cost effective option for such a boycott.

I don't have a clue. I'm an American with no idea about travel prices on that side of the pond.

These scanners might not be safe. It's easy for the people selling them to get "experts" to say they are harmless. Somewhere earlier there was a post that the scanners could cause a person's DNA to unravel. From the govt.'s point of view this would be a non issue I suppose. Dead people don't collect pensions. Also with socialized health care some sick older patients might not receive any meaningful care.

as soon as they (the freekin government) announced that they were rolling these things out, I decided i probably wouldnt be flying to america or anywhere that requires to be scanned untill their withdrawn.

they are the biggest EVEr invasion of privacy i think ive ever seen and its just wrong, plain and simple!

If everyone stops flying because of these things then companies and airports will be in a lot of trouble and Have to get rid of them.

people power,,, im suprised theirs not been ANY sort of protest action on this subject!

edit : I LOVE THE IDEA of writing PERVERT accross your body so when they scan it they see it ... im sure it woudl make the pricks operating this abomonation to think different about how far they will go to keep their job!

The worst bit of all this is, that scince they annonced these full body scanners, all i have thought about is "JUST USE SCREENING" (untill this i was 10000000% against screening btw) ... for instance... when has their EVER been a scottish causasion man or woman try and blow up a freeking airplain?? so why the hell should we be scanned like this? (same for most english, irish, welsh ect)

and i know it can seem racist, but its so not, i absolutely deplore rasisim (look at some of my previous posts for confirmation) ... but common sence is common sence, as crappy as it is for me to say, their only a few body types and nationalitys out their who are actualy trying to commit these "terrorist" acts, and common sence would say stop them, not people from a nationality or race who have never tried to blow anything up or even caused any trouble internationaly!

Flying is not a right but a privilege. I see absolutely nothing wrong with this and it is not as if when you walk through a full body scanner it is not broadcast on a 52" LCD for everyone to see. It is a security measure.

As someone who travels quite a bit and overseas I feel it is one more thing to protect me or my family when travelling. I feel comfortable in Atlanta or NY with an officer with an MP-5 just there as a deterrent and not controlled. Paranoia will destroy ya....

Again, Flying is a privilege and not a right so special interest groups need to step aside.

Also, the airline industry will be affected. The US govt. probably has already assured the air carriers that they will be compensated in some fashion. But what about destination sites, like Disneyland, Disney World, or even Las Vegas?
