I have no doubt he's real, just doubt he's a zombie. I think maybe it's possible it could be one of those cases where they thought he was dead, you know heart slowed so much they couldn't find a pulse, and he recovered but was never really dead.

If this is a hoax, can you imagine the way his poor family is going to feel if they ever hear about it.

Yes, well not a very nice prank now is it! For shame on those folks!
Very deviously clever. But not nice! I hope the little lad is doing well.
The thougt of him lunging at his mother was rather strange! Oh well!

No it wasn't a very nice prank. I read in the thread where he/she said it was meant to be just among friends, but they should have made sure that it couldn't be spread around like that. These are trying times, especially for those with family members that are infected. Can you imagine how they would feel if they came upon this "joke".

I think maybe i'm overtired and need sleep, you all have a good night and Take care.

Developed a low-grade fever, dry cough and sore throat on Monday.

Didn't think anything about it until last night, felt like c***.

Stayed home from work today, made an appointment with my doctor.

Saw the physician's assistant this afternoon, doctor was out of office.

Still had sore throat and cough, but apparently the fever has broken, temperature was 98.6, or so I was told. Yeah!

Seems my immune system is one of the few things I can still rely on.

There was a stack of face masks at the reception desk, but nobody was wearing them.

Odd thing I noticed: despite this new flu having been confirmed in my city, no effort was made to take any swabs or other samples from me, despite my reported symptoms.

The PA didn't even follow the basic personal protection protocols (No mask, no gloves), even while I was coughing during the exam (Of Course I covered my mouth).

Maybe I'm just paranoid, or maybe I've been hanging out around here too long, but "Something" just doesn't seem right, and now I have a personal experience of the "something".

You should've insisted they test you. Did they give you an antiviral ? Maybe call your local health department and report it. Hope you feel better.

Thanks!

No meds prescribed. PA said my lungs were clear, said it "was probably just an upper respiratory virus" and sent me on my way.

Uh, Duh!

Last time a PA told me that, I developed pnuemonia!

I have medical coverage through my HMO (Yeah work perk!).

I'll be staying home on Friday as well.

Fortunately, I'm only a few blocks from an ER if anything takes a turn for the worse.

OMG now if i had been drinking a coke i definitely would have spewed it !

On a serious note i wonder if that's possible, if we can catch it from them i guess they could catch it from us ? That would start one hell of a vicious circle wouldn't it, going back and forth between us, constantly mutating ? My sincere apologies to any farmers that are concerned for their livestock, don't mean to laugh i'm just a little punch drunk right now.

Be careful. Don't know if you believe in herbal remedies and such, but just in case Elderberry is really good for the respiratory system, as well as many other things. It is also supposed to help prevent viruses from easily entering into and affecting your cells, they used it to fight against a flu outbreak in Panama in 95'. Thyme opens the passages in your lungs. If you have an apocrathy near you they'll carry these and many more and be able to tell you what's good for what.
