'Nostrodamus often mentions exact specifics such as 'Franco' and 'Pasteur.' Even a hardcore skeptic must soften when they realize that somehow...modern events were published in the 1672 edition: 'The True Prophecies and Prognostications of Michael Nostrodamus.' In 1946, Henry C. Roberts wrote as he read the 1672 edition: 'I had perused but a few pages when I was struck by the sense of familiarity that these verses seemed to hold for me. Words that that the author claimed held no significance for him, took on for me a definite meaning, became clearly focused into patterns of events - past, present and future.'

1. Cayce Foresees the Stock Market Crash of 1929
In February 1925, during a Life reading for a twenty-six-year-old physician, Cayce stated that the young doctor would soon find himself in possession of a great deal of money. The reading advised the individual to exercise caution and discretion in caring for his wealth especially in the face of “adverse forces that will come then in 1929” (2723-1).

On another occasion in March 1929, six months before the stock market crash, a New York stockbroker was given a severe warning of the impending “great disturbance in financial circles” that was about to take place (900-425). Cayce stated: “…we may expect a CONSIDERABLE break and bear market, see? This issue being between those of the reserves of nations and of INDIVIDUALS, and will cause—unless another of the more STABLE banking conditions come to the relief—a great disturbance in financial circles. This warning has been given, see?”

2. World War II
In 1935, in an amazing display of precognitive perception, Edgar Cayce warned a 29-year-old freight agent of catastrophic events that were building within the international community. In response to a question regarding global affairs, the readings described an entire world at war. Although not seeing the picture as necessarily an unchangeable destiny, Cayce warned that “tendencies in the hearts and souls of men are such” that these conditions could be brought about:

Edgar Cayce: ...As to the affairs of an international nature, these we find are in a condition of great anxiety on the part of many; not only as individuals but as to nations.

And the activities that have already begun have assumed such proportions that there is to be the attempt upon the part of groups to penalize, or to make for the associations of groups to carry on same.

This will make for the taking of sides, as it were, by various groups or countries or governments. This will be indicated by the Austrians, Germans, and later the Japanese joining in their influence; unseen, and gradually growing to those affairs where there must become, as it were, almost a direct opposition to that which has been the THEME of the Nazis (the Aryan). For these will gradually make for a growing of animosities.

And unless there is interference from what may be called by many the SUPERNATURAL forces and influences, that are activative in the affairs of nations and peoples, the whole WORLD – as it were – will be set on fire by the militaristic groups and those that are “for” power and expansion in such associations... (416-7).

3. The Shifting of the Earth’s Poles Has Begun (Edgar Cayce prediction from 1936)
“Question: What great change or the beginning of what change, if any, is to take place in the earth in the year 2,000 to 2,001 A.D.? Answer: When there is a shifting of the poles; or a new cycle begins.”(826-8 – August 11, 1936)

NOVA, the PBS television program, reported startling discoveries about our planet’s electromagnetic poles and fields. The program was titled “Magnetic Storm” and was written and produced by David Sington. The reason this is of interest to us is that Edgar Cayce predicted that the beginning of the New Age would coincide with the beginning of a pole shift.

Ed Dames.

This is interesting to watch, and although it is not the only prediction that Ed Dames has made and which came to pass, it does show that despite the jealousy of some, and others trying to deny it, Ed Dames has made many predictions that have come true.

Some of his other predictions include:

He talked about Mad Cow disease, in fact he said a disease that would affect cows would appear, and years later the problem would be so bad that children might not even be able to drink milk anymore.

He talked about Avian flu, and said to have seen birds die in mid-air and tumble dead to the ground, a few months after this the first of this occurrences happened.

He also mentioned that the Sun's activity would increase, and that one of the first precursors before the so called "Kill-shot" would be the "shot accross the bow", which he mentioned to be the most massive solar flare ever recorded would miss the Earth. This happened in 2004 if I remember correctly, and he spoke about this years before it happened.

During the time of the war in Iraq Ed Dames also said that there would be a nuclear detonation done in North Korea as a test by the North Koreans, and they would use another atomic bomb in anger later on. A few months later there was a mayor explosion in North Korea that at first everyone thought could be a nuclear explosion, Ed Dames appeared on CoasttoCoastAM that night and said that was not a nuclear explosion, and was not what his students and him had seen, and he was correct. A year or so later North Korea Detonated a nuclear bomb as a test. This happened in 2006.


He had made several others that also came true, and yes there have been some that did not come true, or haven't come true yet.

Erm, the sun's activity is in cycles, therefore ANYONE can predict this with some degree of accuracy.

Every prediciton you mentioned can be fit into a wide variety of scenrios.

Alas your list will be VERY short if it is looked at with any FACTUAL evidence.

But I'm sure I'll enjoy reading about other people's interpretations.

Since you are mainly talking about the Sun's predictions, it is clear you are trying to attack Ed Dames predictions

BTW you are wrong, many people, even experts claimed Dames predictions were wrong, back in 1997 we did not know as much about the Sun as we know now, and even now we don't know as much as we would want to know.

As for your claim that any prediction i mention can fit any scenario, again you are wrong. For Nostradamus to have been able to foretell how a king would die with a stake through his helmet. For Nostradamus again to have foretold the rise of Hitler, even if he mispelled the name by two letters, and for other people such as Ed Dames, and his group to have foretold for example that a bacterial infection, like a rust would begin in Africa by attacking plants, such as wheat, and these events occurring how these people foretold they would occur, it far outweights any claim, you or anyone else might want to come up with that "these predictions can fit any nyumber of scenarios".

Sorry, but you are dead wrong on that.

I can understand that some people, such as yourself, would never want to believe that anyone can foretell the future, but the FACTUAL evidence tells you, that you simply don't want to accept this fact, and it is ok, just because you don't want to believe the FACTUAL evidence, it doesn't mean it is going away because you want it to, or because you, or anyone else say it doesn't happen.

There is some truth in all religions, except those which order their followers to klll unbelievers, or to perform some despicable acts upon others for any motive.

Now, Anatoly Golitsyn's predictions are not based on any paranormal experience, but rather on this "master plan" that him, and other high ranking Russian defectors have been telling us since the 50s.

I believe there are two, or three versions of a New World Order. The western powers have their own version. The eastern powers such as the Russian government, and the Chinese government have become allies for now, to combat what they see as their mutual enemy, the West. But you can be sure that both Russia, and China don't see each other as friends, but rather as just allies.

As history has shown enemies have become allies to confront a mutual enemy, then again to fight each other.

Everything the Eastern powers planned so many decades ago is coming to fruition as we speak.

Through the use of deception, disinfornmation, and planted spies/sleeper cells the plans of the east have been embraced by many throughout the world, even by many in the west, including people in power, and this was exactly their plan from the beginning.

It is only naive to claim his statements are just mere coincidence when everything he foretold, as well as other high ranking Russian defectors, have come to pass, or are very near to come to pass.

The Russian, the Chinese, the Iranian, the Venezuelan, and other governments have been calling for not only a New World economy, in which the great players would be China, Russia, and India among others, but they have called for a New World government based on their ideals, which have nothing good in mind for the future of the people they want to control.

It seems that these eastern powers are winning for now, because European nations are embracing what Russia, and China are proposing as we speak.

If China was neutral they wouldn't have started with Russia the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which is set up to rival NATO, and to opose the U.S.

The present U.S. administration apparently wants to either unite with Russia, and China, or at least to be friendly, but that's obviously not the intention of either Russia, or China.

Anyway I think another correct prediction would be the one made in the crop circles for July 7th.

During July 6th, and part of July 7th the region 1024 Sunspot was a C class sunspot, and it was the most activity in the Sun in the last 2 years.

This crop circle appeared at the end of April.

Meanwhile some people will claim that there was nothing magnificent about this prediction, the fact is that this was the most activity in the Sun for the past two years.

Another prophecy that seems to ahve come true is one of the web bot predictions. Yes, the web bot that many don't think can predict anything has gotten somethings right after all.

One of the predictions was that the government would be using agents to post messages of hatred, and even insults to elicit certain responses from citizens.

There was one post baout apparently agents from one of the three word agencies which were posting online such messages inciting hatred, and insulting trying to ilicit responses from people.

We could even point to the very possibility that many of these dissenters of the Obama healthcare which have turned violent could also be disinformation agents trying to ilicit responses on people to crack down on the legitimate protests.

Even if this last is not true, the one about the three word agency having agents posting insults, and messages of hatred online came true.

When King Henry won each of his battles, he would raise his visor from his golden helmet, to receive the applause of the crowd.

Proof - Hitler's Rise and Fall

Were the predictions of Nostradamus simply guesswork as some have surmised or was he truly a the greatest prophet the world has ever known? In his predictions of Hitler's rise Nostradamus wrote (notations italicized):

Because I WANT it to be true. I would love to find unambiguous predictions clearly stating a date that something will happen and have it happen. I have done quite a bit of research on the subject because it is interesting. I have found only a very few predictions that were perfectly clear what was going to happen that actually happened.
