Hey, speaking of coffee...isn't their antibiotics in there?
yes and a plant that evolved a basic antiseptic quality would protect its self from bacterial infection and attack which would kill it

so the ones that didnt have this mutation would die (what a waste of coffee
)

If you think you're bad at art compared to evolution, try some photosynthesizing for a while - no matter how hard I try I just can't make those oxygen bubbles!

Creation is beautiful because its what we are used to. It's like do we like blue because its the colour of the sky, or like the sky because its blue? There's no answer to that. Nature is beautiful in its variety and complexity but its hard to know if that beauty is intrinsic or just what we're used to.

The sky isn't blue. You see colour in it in a similar way you see colour in a mirror.

i like the sky becasue without it we would al be dead and so would the vast majority of life on earth right now and there would just be really basic single cell's pottering about in water which is kinda dull

and like goodwolf said (
)its not blue its transparant, the sky has no colour

Its much easier to come in after someone else has already done the heavy lifting and declare a sweeping victory over the situation

heck, it worked in WWII

that was the best plan ever... poke at the germans with a stick... they'll only bomb the snot out of London
They can't reach us here

speaking of evolutionary artwork though, have you seen picbreeder.org...

pretty neat stuff IMO

I love the idea that nature is just one giant fractal. Makes so much sense and it is awesome.

That is my simplified answer.

only becasue we stopped them making hydrogen bombs first and crippled the development of multistage V rockets to fire from france and nuke the east coast of yankytania

I think the quality of one's art is a reflection of that individuals state of mind. How about Da Vinci, he produced amazing replicas of the human body on paper.

Or Autistic savants, who can somehow reproduce entire cityscapes with amazing accuracy all from photographic memory.

Personally I feel that all is one, and since nature can produce amazing things, man can produce amazing things if he can only realize his oneness.

what about a woman? can she do amazing things as well if she realizes her oneness?

Well a certain mind can be more attracted to art or have more creative power but the mystery of Da vinci's ability to create such great art is simple.. he practiced... and actually there are drawings of the body today that are better then da vanci.. i mean the realness of chuck close's portraits are far better then Da vinci's.. and thats kind of my point we hold an artist like Da vinci as a great intellect for crudely duplicating what evolution did with no intellect

Interesting to say the least, one thing though you have an equation that has the word MUTATION in it. Could do me a favor and show me one beneficial mutation?

I know that scientists tried fr 30 years with fruit flies to get one and couldn't and I also know that no credible Scientist in the world claims a beneficial mutation and that mutations are damaged gene codes and the offspring either die right out, can not reproduce, or they reproduce back to the normal state.

I will not accept Sickle Cell either as a beneficial mutation because people with it don't get malaria, although true they die faster and quicker from other things so this can not be beneficial. Don't believe me, ask someone with Sickle Cell Anemia.

Here's some pertaining to humans.
www.gate.net...

Bacteria that can eat nylon is a good example.
www.nmsr.org...

noobfun, embed that Aron Ra vid with the anti-aids/HIV mutation.

Reality is that most mutations are completely neutral.
