This is a pretty crazy ride! I’ve been on a few roller coasters; The Corkscrew at Alton Towers, UK, having been the most thrilling. However, I think this new one would beat that… I don’t know if I’d survive it at my age. See POV video below…

From the Official site --> www.cedarpoint.com...

Have a need for speed? Get revvved up in 2024 and buckle in as Cedar Point introduces Top Thrill 2, the world’s TALLEST and FASTEST triple-launch strata coaster. This record-breaking, next generation motorsport machine races a course unlike any other on the planet. Sleek, aerodynamic vehicles launch you not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES as you drive the sky in an epic competition to reach the finish line.

Experience true weightlessness as you immerse yourself in three “free-fall” moments, including the coveted, fan-favorite “rollback” after you’re first launched forward. Then, launch backward and rise into the sky on a new, cloud-piercing vertical tower, giving you never-before-seen views of America’s Roller Coast®. A third launch rockets you forward at 120 mph, sending you on a race to the stratosphere before reaching the finish line.

For Roller Coaster nerds, there’s a dedicated Coasterpedia website and here is all the info on this ride and more…

I grew up in a suburb of Cleveland, and Cedar Point was less than an hour away. I rode them all. But the Top Thrill Dragster (original ride) was the best so far. Gemini back in the day was cool because it was a longer ride, but the TT Dragster launch was epic. The new ride should be even faster.

Nope.

I love coasters, but will only ride ones with shoulder harnesses. (scared of heights to boot).
I can't handle my butt coming off the seat and not hitting the lap bar for another inch or two.
Nope.

But hubby really wants to go again this year. Just hard to find another couple where one will ride everything, and the other only some things.
