crypto has been pretty fun here in the last month.

Every now and then I buy a sh!tcoin just to speculate on the "what if", it's like a lottery ticket. Almost no chance of winning, and the coins have no utility or reason to exist, but SHIB has taught me, you might just need some luck, marketing, and be a little stupid/wild at times. So I consider it a tax. Like the lottery is a tax on folks who aren't good at math. So I bought babybonk. Threw $50 at it, and it's now $25. But damn I have a lot of it!!! But I was able to take some profits and pay for some projects with it, so it's like free money.

And your idea of small investments is solid. I started buying small bits of Ethereum and the bag just keeps growing.

Congrats on the stock. Get your profit back, then let it ride. Or not. But have fun.

I just sold some sol a few days ago to buy that ICP coin after I saw they announced it performed the 1st AI blockchain transaction.

And its been pumping since. That coin was over 800$ b4 the huge crash. its still at 19$

if you put all your eggs on one basket and don't plan for things like an EMP, however unlikely, you really deserve what you get.

Technically right now it's just a gain. It's not a profit until he sells it.

He can't sell for 6 months, so he better hope it doesn't tank before then. I'd bet Democrat Wall Street is already scheming ways they can manipulate the price down to try to hurt him until he can sell.

Unless he gets that waiver that he can sell immediately.

If something like that happens, I hate to break it to you but no physical currency is gonna be worth # either.

In an major societal collapse like an EMP will cause, things will go back to a barter system. Nobody is gonna trade you critical supplies for some piece of paper that says $20 on it. I doubt people will even take gold.

If you're genuinely concerned about prepping for a serious societal collapse, don't bother saving cash or gold. Buy guns, bullets, food, water, medicine, fuel, sturdy clothes and footwear, tools, etc. Those are the kinds of things people will trade for.
