Putin himself said that thousands and thousands and thousands of ethnic Russians had been systematically killed over an eight-year period by Nazis. There are Nazis (in Ukrainian uniforms) carrying out military activities in the two regions he mentioned. Ain't nobody denying it.

Putin could have invaded The Ukraine anytime he wanted ... but, he waited until now. If I had one question answered it would be, "What's the list of reasons you went in when you did ... and not before?"

Part of Putin's master plan kills off all the civilians and then there is no one left to use as a human shield. When you are shelling a city with rockets artillery and mortars you're trying to kill civilians.

Zelensky achievement ... when he started shooting Ukrainian guys between the ages of 14 and 60 who were trying to flee to Poland.

Russia has claimed, and a few others have reported, that Ukrainian military forces were in the process of staging themselves along the western edge of the Donbas region in preparation for a full scale assault on the Russian-Ukrainian region. It is said that Russia went in when they did in order to prevent/counter this assault by Ukrainian forces.

There was a video posted here two or three weeks ago from an American guy in Donbas making this same claim.

I have further seen one claim that the above referenced assault was to include chemical attacks by the Ukrainian forces against the Russian-Ukrainian people in the Donbas region, hence Russia's immediate dismantling/destroying the biolabs in Ukraine.

I haven't seen anything to confirm or debunk these claims, but I honestly don't know what that would look like anyway. Anything at this point could be propaganda.

The OP's video may or may not have represented a Ukrainian act of barbarity. I don't speak the lingo and I'm not familiar enough with the troop look of either side. That said, I saw people getting shot ... I saw people who were gravely wounded ... and, I saw no justification for it. I have no reason to doubt the veracity of the claims that this was a Ukrainian _sponsored_ action being systematically carried out against surrendering forces who are protected persons under the Geneva Conventions. And that ... is some effed-up shizz!!

When I see something like that, there is NO WAY I want my tax dollars supporting any Ukrainian anything before this conflict ends. And then, I want a full and acceptable reason support a Ukrainian anything should come out of my damned paycheck.

Russia isn't even a signator, to the Geneva Convention. I'm sure what the vid showed were indeed war crimes, I think it's just in question if it was regular army, or a neighbourhood militia, who just saw some stuff. I'm not sure they are bound by the same rules..not that it matters, it's still bad. I'm not sure what I would do if my neighbourhood got shelled though, or my neighbour killed. Ukraine said it would be investigated though..so, we shall see.

I had a good friend who lived a mile away, murdered in his home, was a home invasion, they shot him in the face with a .12ga, they got about 100$. So, I just don't like invaders in general, the idea of it..I will never let my home be invaded, the consequences will be dire, be it my 4 walls, or on a bigger scale. I know that's a bit off subject, but it's how I view the concept of invader.

I will post a few links, but really, NPR, AP stuff, all info in war is hard to trust. Could well be true..or not. Lots of fluff.

Problem is Ukrainians do NOT want to be "liberated" by Russia. Thats been made very clear... to the tune of 16k dead Russian liberators and counting. They were under Soviet territory for any decades and want to go back. Just like all the E. European countries that were part of the Soviet Union and ran as far away as they could when they were seperated after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
