I'm not sure the vast majority of Canadians are against the blockades. If they are, it's because they've been brainwashed by the media. And many have been. If we can get through this, I have a feeling the vast majority will be glad the truckers did whatever they had to in order to peacefully stand up to such tyranny. A lot is being exposed, despite the media.

Blame the victim for trusting the banks, gotcha. How exactly should they move large funds from thousands of locations all over the continent without banking? Should people send them cash in envelopes? It wasn't the bank's choice and if they refuse to comply they'll be put out of business for failing to comply with AML and KYC rules or whatever Canadian laws supercede them.

The bank accounts were frozen by order of the government. I'm sure the bank would prefer to collect fees than shut accounts. It's virtually impossible to exist in the modern world without banking access. It's a serious inconvenience at best, but is more likely a crippling handicap for financial independence. It's not about restoring normal operations to Ottowa, it's about political agendas and control. They did nothing while leftist groups tore through locations across North America. They didn't care when it was protests from leftist groups disrupting the lives of citizens. They don't care that their own panicked reactions have disrupted the lives of citizens all over the globe, killed children in virtually no danger of dying from COVID, and concentrated more wealth in fewer hands than ever before in history by closing small businesses.

As for the left being a global authoritarian organization, it's true. There are various other authoritarian groups, including Republicans when they get control, but this isn't the right. This is almost entirely a leftist push to eliminate medical choice and segregate aociety while conveniently villainizing their political opponents. It is almost universal among people that consider themselves liberals, the irony. They've used fake stories, identity politics, and outright slander against their own citizens. It's a disgusting abuse of power, which you support while complaining that we should have stopped it years ago.

You can continue to oppose the truckers, but don't pretend that the reaction and measures taken by government aren't purely political. I don't support the honking or other obnoxious protest methods, but I also don't support the government shutting down people's lives whenever they feel like it with no regard for the wider consequences. If the government is unreasonable I don't see how the people have a choice but to take up obnoxious protests. If they weren't blocking traffic this protest would effectively never exist outside local interest.

Sad truth is children are under attack whether they attend protests or not. They have every right and reason to face those who would ruin their lives. Let's see how they treat the crowd when it's composed of families with small children. Could they even afford the bad optics of any kind of police violence? No, they couldn't. It doesn't mean it still couldn't happen but I don't see being at a protest as any more dangerous than living under medical tyranny, a police surveillance state and toxic planet.

interesting note i know of several ERs down here in fl that are getting numerous applications from nurses applying from Canada. until recently that has never been a thing and they arent applying for temporary position either. not its coincidence but its definitely unusual.

the problem is the process to hire them and get them to fill the position takes to long.
