Leaked Texts PROVE Trump Circle Tried To STOP Capitol Riot

Donald Trump's eldest son was among those who pleaded former chief of staff Mark Meadows to urge the former president to condemn the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

On Monday, the House select committee investigating the Capitol insurrection voted to recommend that Meadows be held in contempt of Congress for refusing to testify to investigators.

During a briefing where the recommendation was announced, Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming read aloud a text conversation in which Donald Trump Jr. begged Meadows to encourage Trump to take stronger action against the rioters.

"He's got to condemn this s--- ASAP. The Capitol Police tweet is not enough," a text sent by Trump Jr. to Meadows read, according to Cheney. (Trump Jr. is likely referring to a tweet from Trump on the afternoon of the insurrection that asked rioters to"remain peaceful" and "please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement.")

The texts come from a series of messages that Meadows provided to the committee, which show that lawmakers, administration officials, and multiple Fox News personalities were among those who urged Meadows to level with the president about the attack.

President Trump did stop the damage being inflicted on our building before it got too out of hand, or Capitol police murdered even more Americans.

I dont see what the problem was. Going by the BLM metric it was largely peaceful.

Recently indicted-for-contempt-of-Congress STEVE BANNON is attempting to have Democrat's Jan 6th witch-hunt evidence shared with the Public.

But a corrupt judge (yes, another one) won't allow it.

U.S. District Court Judge Carl Nichols has issued a protective order in Steve Bannon's criminal contempt of Congress case, effectively barring him or his lawyers from releasing to the public case material given to them by prosecutors.

However, any evidence related to the case that is already in the public sphere or obtained by Bannon outside of the evidentiary discovery process, is not subject the judge's ruling.

All this circle jerking around and one big piece of evidence that is out there and has never been released is the immense amount of hours of security footage of the building and grounds. The footage that is out there is damning enough in my opinion which shows security opening doors and moving barricades to allow the people into the building. I think everyday this keep going the more and more it is going to backfire on the committee.

Even those on the left can see this is nothing but misdirection and political theater to keep from looking at the Biden/Harris Administration plummeting numbers. All the Democrats have ever had since Nixon was the blame game, it's how you can tell they have weak leaders, it's all they use.

They can't help themselves if they don't stop the hemorrhaging it will negatively affect the 22 midterms as CWM asserts.

They want to charge the President with something to keep him from running again. The President sees it as good press for the Americans bad for the socialist Dems.

If these guys have nothing to hide, and can defend their action, then testify. What's the problem?

This is why we call it Trump Derangement Syndrome, because it is absolutely a mental illness. The allegedly "bombshell" evidence they are claiming to have shows the exact opposite of what they claim it does. They say they have evidence of a conspiracy -- their evidence shows inarguably that there wasn't any conspiracy. They say they have evidence of Trump encouraging violence -- their evidence shows inarguably that everyone was concerned about the violence and wanted Trump to make stronger statements against it. (And he did.) This is delusion, plain & simple. They are too blinded by hatred to be able to apply any degree of rational thinking.

It's either that, or Liz, like Adam Schiff, is a pathological liar who knows full well that what she's saying isn't true.

By definition, you cannot commit trespassing if you have been invited in. And I believe most of the protestors left peacefully when the Keystone Kops finally got around to asking them to leave.

But the evidence is out there, and sooner or later (hopefully sooner) there is going to be a massive class-action lawsuit for suppression of evidence, entrapment, deprivation of rights under the color ow law, and a host of similar offenses.

It's also very important to realize that the riot stopped 6 states from contesting their election results. Arizona was the only state that managed to contest their election and submit over a thousand pieces of evidence of election irregularities to Congress.

The riot gave lawmakers an excuse to not follow the law and agree that there wouldn't be any contesting of the election.

The rioters were very likely allowed past barriers and maybe even into the Capital for that very reason.
The criminals in DC will stop at nothing to cover-up their crimes.

You've got it totally bass ackwards.

All the states--including the Red states and swing states--certified their votes on December 14 in complete accordance with the Constitution and the laws. Past that date, the only constitutional provision for contesting the election is for a Congress person to challenge it on the floor when Congress convenes to count the votes on Jan. 6. Ted Cruz did exactly that. Then Congress debates the challenge for two hours and votes to either sustain it or defeat it. That process was happening when the rioters stopped it by invading Congress. Congress was following the law. Interrupting that process was breaking the law.

If that had of been A largely peaceful BLM protest, statues would have toppled, furnishings would have been trashed, national treasures would have been looted and destroyed, bodily excretions would have been everywhere and the Capital building would have been set ablaze. That was my real point.
