This is an interesting article that points out some of the horrible realities of "sex change" surgeries. The author explains how sex changes aren't some kind of magical thing where a man becomes a woman, but rather they're complicated and dangerous surgeries that in reality cause permanent mutilation and damage to the body, often resulting in misery and suicide. As the article points out, suicide rates among people who have undergone sex change surgeries are astronomical, because they were led to believe in an unrealistic ideal without being made aware of the consequences.

That made me want to puke. Why in the world would anyone risk this?

I used to work with a young woman who was married to a woman turned man? I’m not sure about infections, but I know that when the gal that I worked with got mad at said husband she would refuse sometimes for weeks to give the new man? his testosterone shots!!! She said he was an A$$ to her when she, I mean “HE?” was on testosterone.

I’m sure many, many who have chosen that option for a full blown sex change have at times regretted their decision, although I wonder if they would admit to it? Interesting 🤔

I ask myself, do these doctors tell them all those details and no red flags pop up in the one that desires this? I am not judging, I just ask myself how desperate some have to be to do this.

Is it mental ilness? To give some perspective, I am B and I know it's not normal. Something is differently wired and I have no issues recognizing this, I can't change it though. But the insight is there.

No human is faultless or pure. It's sad though to see them suffering and even more suffering after these decisions. Maybe just like a sect or cult, they blend out all the negative consequences?

Can we blame them or is it mental illness? In the sense of that it's not common/normal? Like I wrote, slightly different thing with me but I acknowledge that it's not normal. And the word abnormal is just the opposite of normal to me, it doesn't bear a negative taste.

Does that make sense to anyone?

Doubt they would ever admit to it. They are starving for attention typically, so having an actual medical issue on top of a mental disorder makes it that much easier to garner more sympathy for their problems.

Years ago (as late as the early '70's) when we had a truly unpolitical APA, gender misidentification was considered a mental disease. It was treated as a mental issue as it should be, but when the Leftists took over they have done little but bow to the political pressure from other far leftist idiots who are doing their best to dissemble the nuclear family.

I highly recommend a book for those who wish to learn more about these efforts, called "The Naked Communist" written by Cleon Skousen and originally published in 1958. In it he listed the (then) 45 goals of the communist party, which you can still find online, and here are a hadful of them you may find of interest:

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural and healthy."
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture – education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose communist goals.
40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

It's probably a bit similar to my issues with asthma and claustrophobia and the masks in that I rationally know I am not smothering and my I am not having asthma issues, but it doesn't change the reaction I end up having to that mask sucking up against my face.

I read things as bad in my job. The difference being those are things done to try to cure/treat cancer where these are mainly elective procedures that are just as traumatic.

The only edit I'd make to this article is that first do no harm, or primum non necere in Latin, is not part of the Hippocratic Oath, but likely originates from "Of The Epidemics."

Regardless of where the phrase originates, it is a saying to live by. What rational human being would emgage in a practice which has the capability to permanently and irreparably alter another human being in ways that can cause permanent physical, psychological, and spiritual harm.

This is exactly what I am talking about here, any disagreement with the LGBTQ and you are hateful, a Nazi, a detestable human being etc. It’s extremely hateful to be cisgender, meaning one is attracted to only the opposite sex, specifically those born as the opposite sex. I'm a man and I was blessed to connect with and marry a wonderful woman. I will hold onto this woman for dear life as the mere thought of ever attempting dating in this bleak hellscape of a society is very disconcerting (we feel very fulfilled by one another and I will continue putting effort in every single day to ensure it remains this way).

For what it's worth: I support what I consider to be the right for consenting adults to do as they see fit in the comfort of their own home if it doesn't endanger others and if it is not at the expense of others.

They will not.
This topic hits me hard as my oldest son (in his 30s) came out a trans a few years ago. I wont pretend to say that I get it, because I dont, at all. Hes has made it known that he wants to fully transition.
