I don't have to agree with everything about how a person lives their life in order for me to still like them and respect them. No one agrees with everything about how another person lives their life. It's part of why we're all individuals and end up with very different lives - we all are different, do different things, feel different needs/desires, makes different choices based on that.

Sex reassignment treatments and surgeries are done everyday on infants born intersex.
This is done without permission of the person and the parents seldom understand the long term problems.

I agree a lot. But I would not mind if the B thing get's known now. The people around me, I moved away from the town where everyone knew (someone outed me). Here I feel respected and welcomed. People know me, if they hate me then because of that then I can't change it anywhere else eithe

I don't like leftists. They tend to assume that because a thing is right for them, it's also right for everyone else.

There is a difference between being able to handle the idea that someone does a thing you might not, might even disagree deeply with, and be able to tolerate that reality and the idea they have every freedom to be and do as they choose for themselves, and the idea that this or that idea is "liberal" or "progressive" and therefore, everyone must get with the program and be and think and live that way ... or else, which is pretty much the opposite of liberal.

I agree so much, everyone deserves basic dignity no matter the difference. That's why for example free speech is seen a bit different here with heavy insults. Like "motherf...". It's not about "feelz" but dignity, because it implies someone is doing incest and that's hurting their reputation.

Sadly this basic respect and dignity isn't available in small rural towns, especially when it's traditional Catholic with older people. They just put you in a drawer and regardless what good you did before or after, it's nullified.

One can have conservative and traditional values and also being liberal when it comes to things like less laws and more freedom and rights.

I am against extremism of any form, left right conservative progressive (etc) doesn't matter.

I say that because I have to ask, why do you call yourself gender dysphoric? Dysphoric, in general, would lend itself to a psychiatric term, as in a mental disorder.

And this is another odd question, but is the reason for calling it dysphoric solely to "reclaim" the term? Similar to the "n-word" being cool within the culture but racist outside?

That could be true. Trust me, I do not identify as female. no plans to have any surgery. Sexual arousal may be part of it, Also the free feeling. You should try wearing a skirt. Is it a mental disorder ot just a life choice? I do not think I have mental issues.

You're right that cross-dressing is harmless and not the same as gender dysphoric. But "transgender" is a big umbrella, and it doesn't stop there in the current ideology and legislative/regulatory activism.

So forget those in "rhea linda". It's the Trans Activists that need to be told that "cross-dressing is not the same as transgender." Because they refuse to make that distinction in their demands for self identification and society's "acceptance without exception". And that includes violent rapists in prison. So whereas we might agree they don't belong in women's prisons (and any other women's single-sex spaces), others don't, and they don't care how many women are harmed as a result. So the other poster isn't wrong either.

And just to make myself clear, when I say "Trans Activists," I do mean those people who are political and social activists, demanding legislative and regulatory protections for all the identities which fall under the transgender umbrella.
